When I was a kid I would go to the drug store with my mother and she would buy us a tall white pack of Callard and Bousers Brittish Butterscotch. Always a treat. Sadly, C&B went out of business. People would try to give me those little round yellow American candies but they are not butterscotch. Finally I found the taste that I have been searching for for decades.

Lack of flavor

Just got these and can't believe what I paid $20(!!!) for!! I wear a women's small glove and this $10 bag of candies makes my hand look gigantic. I thought it would be a nice gift for my mom who LOVES butterscotch anything and bought another bag for her BFF who LOVES anything English. I don't think there's even 20 candies in these $10ea bags. These candies better make 2 little old ladies do back flips. Sheesh...

I see a lot of people complaining this doesn't taste like American Butterscotch. That's because American Butterscotch has artificial flavors. This is as close to the Callard and Bowsers Butterscotch as can be found on the market today. I have only one complaint. The quantity was pretty small for the price.

These are really good, though they remind me of Werther’s Originals. I recommend them, if that’s what you’re looking for!

Smooth flavor

This product has almost no discernable butterscotch flavor; it's nothing like Callard and Bowser.I am very disappointed. I am going to try for a return/refund as I don't intend to consume calories I don't enjoy.
