This was my first time working on a miniature & it was a fantastic starter kit! Directions were easy to follow, included a couple tools I wasn't expecting & turned out great! For the price & finished project, it's a 5 star from me!

I was able to assemble this within 2 days and the instructions were straightforward. There's a small excess of some of the smaller pieces so you have backups available.I'm giving it four stars because some of the paper cut-out parts have backward text on them. I don't think it's a total deal breaker since you can make or print out your own background and whatnot. Also this was a very inexpensive kit so I didn't have sky high expectations for it.Some of the cut-outs are very small so if this is your first attempt at a diy kit a craft blade (like an xacto or other decent quality blade) and cutting board are essential because scissors will not work well most of the time.

It’s easy to assemble for beginners but the only problem is you can’t close it, it would have been better if you can, it could be a perfect gift!

I actually really like this product, the only thing I'll say on the negative is that my kit had a couple broken wooden pieces I had to fix one and totally find a replacement for another cause I couldn't fix it. That disappointed me. I should have taken pictures but I didn't. I'm doing this kit for my 5 year old daughters show and tell so it should be fine. I am already thinking of ordering another kit in the future as the broken pieces are probably a fluke thing.

There were a couple of things that I didn't like. The menu board was printed in reverse (backward) and it was also backward in the picture of the finished product. I also didn't like that the menu on the counter was printed in Chinese, but since it was for my 3 yr old granddaughter she won't mind. She loved it, but wished the can would close when it was complete so it was easier to take with her to play.

I've purchased all sets of these miniatures and every single one of them has been a blast. They are easy enough for a beginner and yet still look like you are at least med level when you made it. I definitely recommend these as they are very satisfying.
