Great fan -- installation instructions not very detailes
If you are replacing an existing fan and have wiremold containing the power feed to the fan be prepared for a great adventure. the wiremold may have to be cut back for the fan canopy and a notch for the feed wires cut into the canopy (position the canopy correctly before notching it - it can easily be cut with tin snips and the resulting tab easily snapped off since the canopy is plastic). Be sure the remote control receiver is placed in the ceiling mount with the tapered sides down to avoid interference with the canopy. It's possible the canopy may not snug up to the ceiling due to the canopy screws hitting the remote receiver. Shorter metric screws are available at ACE hardware, size M4. all in all this fan was hard for me to install because of the wiremold power feed and concrete ceiling. If you have a power feed in the ceiling I would suggest the installation would be much easier.

Not easy to install
I don't want to start by complaining, so here are the pros first.1. Whisper quiet.2. Easy to use remote control.3. Bright light and nice that I can change the light intensity.4. Overall it's a good fan, especially for the price.Con. At 52 years of age I've installed my fair share of ceiling fans throughout my life. This is one of the more difficult to install. I'd like to say you can install some piece while the ceiling fan is already on the ground. If you could manage to install the blades prior to putting it up, I would highly recommend doing so. However; if you do this I'm not sure how you'd manage to connect all the wiring (maybe install 3 or the 5?). BEFORE you start wiring everything up, be sure to loosen the 2 screws that will push the top cover into place when you're done wiring everything up. The clearance is non-existent when you're not using a longer down-rod, so keep that in mind. I had to find the shortest screwdriver imaginable, and I was still having to push the fan motor sideways to get in close enough to tighten the 2 screws. It's a relatively tight fit getting all the wiring in place; however, they did a decent job of keeping it all straightforward and clear with what connects to what. With irony this is often one of the more challenging aspects of installing a fan, and with this fan it was one of the easier steps. It's a good fan, but installation is tough.

Too powerful on low!
I know that sounds crazy but I like one setting on low for just circulation. Low on this is like most mediums and high will blow you away! Also the remote doesn’t change direction of the fan. So you have to climb up in order to push the button for the opposite direction. Thinking of sending it back but my hubby spent a long time up on the ladder!

Sleek and of excellent quality
My husband bought me this ceiling fan for my birthday and installed it yesterday. It is awesome! It has a remote that you can set. My timer, you can turn the light on off with the remote as well as the fan. It’s beautiful and quiet. I love it.

Nice fans
I ordered two to go outside in a covered patio. Fans are fine but one light is a different color than the other. Not sure people will notice but they are off a shade.

Installation instructions not entirely clear and default when on a switch
The fan looks good and, unlike a lot of LED lighted fans I've seen, the light actually puts out a lot of light.I would not say installation is for your average consumer. The instructions aren't super clear/detailed. If you've installed fans before it won't be too bad, but if this is your first fan, I'd stick with Hunter or something similar. Admittedly, I made a mistake when installing it by grouping the black/blue wire from the receiver to the black/blue of the fan motor. This produced some very unpredictable results with the remote control, but when I decoupled the blue/blacks then the remote control worked as expected.But.....without question, the one thing I wish I knew ahead of time (and I'll double check the instructions on this).....you REALLY need to loosen at least two opposing screws on the ceiling mount next to the receiver for the downroad. These are the screws that hold the cover in place when you're all finished. By the time I was ready to put the cover on, I had to find a very small screwdriver that would fit between the cover and the top of the fan motor to loosen the screws. Then, after cramming everything into the cover these are the screws that you'll slip the cover onto and then tighten. Either way, you're going to need a very small screwdriver, or ideally an allen wrench with a phillips head, to tighten the screws. This was a huge PITA.The other nit I'd have is, if you hook it up to a power switch, when you turn the switch on the default is to fire up the light. I suppose I could just leave the power switch on all the time and control the light from the remote, but frankly it's easier to just hit the switch on the way in/out of the room. It would be nicer if when you power off the switch the fan remembered where the light position was (on or off) and return to that vs. just firing up the light.Again, fan looks nice and seems to operate well...but installation was no fun whatsoever, especially when I got to the part about the screws in the mount.

Great Buy
I bought two of these fans for my guests rooms and they work great. Between the different light settings and speeds, it is easily adjusted to anyone’s liking. I had an issue with one of the fans and contacted the seller and they were very responsive and the problem was immediately fixed. Would highly recommend!

Awesome!
I bought one for my room and loved it so much, I bought a second one for my living room. (For reference, I live in a 1 bedroom condo that does not have a lot of air flow). The variety light and fan speed settings are nice to have. Highly recommend.
