What are the net carbs in this per 100g. Carbs - fibre gives 8.2 - 23.4? If this actually has negative carbs it'll be extremely handy!

10/12 grams of carbs per scoop, I’m type 1 diabetic and I have one large scoop on 2 Diablo sugar free coconut cookies 22 gram carbs total. My only treat once a week and it’s so good. Hope this helps.

Will the carbs be lower if you use cream

Thank you for your question. We haven't tested it with cream, but you can give it a try! Using cream may lower carbs due to its lower lactose and higher fat content. However the extra cream might affect the texture.

Can I use non-dairy milk, e.g. soya milk, instead of semi-skimmed?

Thank you for your enquiry. It’s a little tricky to give you a definitive answer, it’s a case of ‘yes’ and ‘no’. Of course you can try that, however we do not recommend using a plant-based milk as every brand on the market has a different ratio of fat in it’s manufacture. This can cause the finished ice cream to become either too hard or too soft. It may also result in a crystallised texture to the ice cream, which is certainly not palatable. Sol-ice has been specifically designed for use with dairy semi-skimmed milk, as cows’ milk, whichever brand, has almost the same or equable standard throughout. Non-dairy beverages are water based and each manufacturer adds a different amount of vegetable fat. We will be launching a brand new Sol-ice Vegan Ice Cream in the coming months, which will be specifically designed for use with an oat-based drink. Keep looking for our new addition to the range!
