Samyang SYIO14AF-E 14mm F2.8 Full Frame Auto Focus Lens for Sony E-Mount, Black

So, I bought this after doing some research as I was looking for a solid Astro photography. And I have to say the reviews were absolutely spot on, this is a sold lens especially at this price point. Images are sharp, auto focus is good and the over all performance is amazing.You wont regret buying this lens I can guarantee it.

Great quality lens but not compatible with my camera. Sadly had to return.

Nice quality lense that I bought mostly for astrophotography. A fair amount of destortion using it for landscape but manageable post processing. Price was right.

This lens is very sharp and works excellent for night photography (Milky way) or nothern lights, also great for wide landscape photos. Very fast lens!

This is a must have lens for a budget full frame real estate photography kit. Truly the only lens you need to start with. I use it with a sony A7ii and love it, it takes care of 99% of my real estate work. For things other than real estate, the autofocus is far enough for non action shots, at least with the A7ii. Is also a joy for astro photography!!! Don't hesitate buying this lens!

I just couldn't leave the one incoherent review I saw be the only one so I'm leaving you with this. The lens is fantastic, it is great quality with very little barrel distortion which can easily be fixed post processing (if you do so). It is very contrasty, sharp, with accurate colors and the price and build quality are great. It works perfectly with a CANON R series camera. focusing is lightning fast and super accurate. I bought this lens for astro photography (with my Canon R5) and for that purpose it works great! Slight vignetting on the edges but that's very fixable in post. Image quality seems good and I like the fact that it has auto focus.

I am in the process of returning the replacement to the first one I order a few weeks ago. Both exhibit severe vignetting with color degradation in the corners. I've spent too much time trying to fix this in Lightroom. Not worth it, and it's certainly not worth $600.2 stars for very good center sharpness but deteriorates quickly towards edges.Finally, do not use the Samyang rear lens cap on any other e-mount lens. It takes 2 men and a boy to get it off. I thought I was going to have to break it off. Seriously. But this is no longer a concern for me since lens is goin' back.
