EMKE 500 x 700mm Illuminated LED Bathroom Mirror LED Mirrors Light with Shaver Socket + Touch Control Switch + Demister

I installed two of these over the weekend and love them. The backlit touch switch is ridiculously cool - far more than it should be! We replaced existing mirrors with old fashioned goose-necked lights for these and couldn’t be more pleased with the whole process. Easy to install, needing just two rawlpugged screws for the slotted mounting points. Easy to wire up, although I agree there’s not much room behind. I used individual 6A terminal blocks on each wire so that they would lie flat alongside each other behind the mirror. If you don’t separate them, I agree a single three line block would be too bulky. Another reviewer said the switch served well as a nightlight and it does, bathing the bathroom in a soft blue light which is just enough at 3am! The manufacturer is not a well known brand, so now they’re up, I just hope they last!

The mirror does exactly what it advertises to do.The mirror is clear, the lights; with three illumination settings; are perfect and the discreet shaver socket perfectly placed.

The mirror looks really good and we are pleased with it. It gives off excellent light. I am a reasonable DIYer but did find it a bit fiddly to install. The instruction sheet was next to useless. The mirror it was replacing had a removable back plate and this could be used as a template to mark the holes for drilling. It also allowed much more space to connect the wires. The new one fits flush to the wall so little room to work with and nowhere for the connector to be placed. I had to chisel out a bit of wall at the back to house it. Also the blue touch switch is very bright and as previous posters have said they use it as a night light. But it will remain on 24/7, 365 days a year so not sure how long the LED will last. It doesn't look as though it can be replaced.Overall though, now it is in place we are very pleased with the product.
