You're correct. Amazon has the incorrect 'per ounce' price, even now that the price is $38.99 for the set (August 2022). Amazon shows .37 per ounce, when it's actually .73 per ounce.....and there's no option to " Report incorrect product information." like there normally is on Amazon products, possibly because this set is sold by external vendors. I agree with Judy R's reply from May 2020, get the 36.8 oz for the subscribe price of about $25. But even if you don't subscribe, the regular price is about $29.48...which is still a good price at .80 per ounce

Can I dry scoop metamucil?

The idea in consuming Metamucil is to have thick liquid (due to fiber) in your intestine wrap around your waste to allow better passage. Consuming it dry will not work. The dry powder in your intestine will suck up all moisture around so it will make constipation worse. So, the short answer is NO. Do not consume Metamucil as dry powder.
