How to Talk So Kids Will Listen and Listen So Kids Will Talk

I have been reading it from last 2 months, very good book, there are examples of children behaviour and there are excercise also. We can take our time to read and helpful to raise our children in a good way.

A must read for all parents! A very practical guide on what to say when facing a situation with your child that usually leads to a power struggle. This book teaches a parent what to say to his/her child that fosters respect between both of you. It really works! You'll want to keep this book close by at all times so you can reference it when you don't know how to respond to a frustrating situation. I wish I had found this book sooner, but it is never too late to start building a healthy relationship with your child.

The best book for connection with your children. I had this as my go to when my children were young... excellent. This one is for my daughter with 3 boys under 8

OMG. Every parent should read this book. From a house of stress and almost daily arguments to calmness with in a week. Being busy parents we just forgot how to listen properly to our daughter. Now we enjoy being together and laughter fills the house instead of the constant daily battles. After reading just a few chapters it was like a light bulb moment, it all made perfect sense. I just needed reminding that my 6 year old was growing up and wanted to express how she felt without me trying to solve everything for her. This book helps you see things from a child's perspective. Something we all need reminding of from time to time.

Though the practices and idea discussed are good, not sure if smaller children can understand these ways and cooperate. Intended for kids aged 3 or above who have some routine like going to school, which os not happening in these pandemic times.
