It's a great hone...no question it does the job...and does it well.Keep this in mind..it will not sharpen a dull knife...its made for putting that fine edge on a knife already sharpened.Well worth the money...does not feel cheap...decent quality.

This sharpening tool will get your knives razor sharp i use it for work and its great for my kitchen knives as well. Be careful after sharpening lol it will cut well if used properly. Grip is good and has a safety area. Easy to clean and store.

I’ve seen the reviews, this will NOT sharpen your knife. It is not intended to. It is to align the blade edge to prepare it for sharpening, preferably on a whetstone. Plenty of YouTube vids to show you how.

Although the description of this item is slightly misleading, this is still a must have kitchen tool. This is a honing rod to help align your knife when it has become misshapen and dull. If your knife is just out of alignment this will make your knife sharp again with just a few strokes in seconds.The rod is balanced and just feels right when you hold it. It’s easy to maneuver making its use enjoyable. This leads to a better overall cooking experience.The rod is durable and does its job time and time again. The steel maintains its functionality even with multiple uses. It’s just the right length for honing both small and large knives. The grip is comfortable and doesn’t slip.This isn’t a sharpener, so if you have a really dull knife you will have to sharpen it with a stone or another sharpener first. If I could give it 0 stars I would,rubbish cheap plastic handle, honing surface has nicks through it, and it wasn't 30cm of honing surface. the whole rod was 30cm not the honing surface
