Nippon Budogu Yamato Sakura Bleached Single Weave Judo Gi Uniform

Having owned this for about 5 years now I will say it has withstood the test of time and moderate use. Fantastic price when I ordered it, the price is still very good. The pants are reinforced where it counts. The crotch is roomy and you do not have movement restrictions. The top is incredibly durable. The edging is very stiff and it has kept shape and form over the years. Excellent quality.

It is wonderful. The size slightly shrinked even I never put it to the dryer. But I'm using it one year and I'm satisfied

I bought this Gi as a replacement for one that I used for Aikido for the last several years. This Gi feels to be great quality, and should last me another several years. Initial fit was just a bit large, but after the first wash the normal amount of shrinking created the perfect fit! The gi is plain white, with no extra patches - and just what I needed. Definitely recommend for a quality choice.

I've been studying and teaching aikido and some judo for quite some time. I bought this as a replacement for a higher end aikido keikogi and I'm already thinking about purchasing another. It fits perfectly and it's holding up great so far.

I have purchased two of these, and at least two other students in my aikido dojo wear them as well. They have held up for two years and going strong. Good quality, comfortable, and long lasting. I recommend it.

Very nice quality gi I've had several of these gis over the years and they hold up well. Washing instructions for gis usually specify cold water and air dry. But like most people I know, I buy my gis large and shrink them to fit (just like people used to do with Levi's), because drip drying my gi in a hotel room during an event is not going to happen. Sooner or later it will end up in a dryer. Here are the measurements for a new size 4 that was washed in warm water and tumble dried, twice. It shrank one whole size on the first wash, and did not shrink any further after that. Measurements were made with gi laid flat on floor and jacket closed. The first number was before washing, the second after. Jacket: Cuff to cuff along top edge of sleeves: 59"/52.5" - note that the sleeves shrank a lot, which is OK for me. Across chest: 24.5"/22" Length shoulder to hem 34"/32.5" Pants: Waist: 22"/20" Waist to hem: 42"/38" I'm very satisfied with my truly pre-shrunk size 3-ish result!

Disappointed. The gi is comfortable but too large even with expected shrinkage. I’m 67” with a slight build and bought a size 4 based on the chart they provide. I should have ordered a size 3. Bought it to attend an aikido seminar. Doubt I’ll wear it again.

I'm a 3 and this gi was a perfect fit. The skirt is longer which is what I like. The fit,cut and quality at this price point is excellent
