Decent for the price
Overall, yes you get what you pay for. Is this the most secure locker to trust, absolutely not. But for storing basic, non-secure items in say like a garage or small office, it gets the job done. Overall assembly was okay. If you can use a screw driver you can assemble this. The only difficulty i had was with lining up the door to the rest of the assembled locker. Because the side panels are flimsy they don’t slip into place easily, at least not for me. But after some playing around it went into place for final assembly. Assembly took about 45 minutes to an hour but my experience may be different from others. Instructions were crappy to follow but like i said, if you can use a basic screwdriver you should be fine.

Could be better, but it’ll work.
My daughter needed a dorm locker for her stuff, and after looking at several things that could work but didn’t seem as secure as I’d like, I finally decided an old school locker would be great, but private sellers want an arm and a leg for them… So I opted for this item as it has the same three-point-style locking mechanism as the old school lockers I remember having. Most of the options out there have a single latch in the center of the door which leaves the top and bottom corners vulnerable to simply being bent open, but with the latches at the top, center and bottom, it would be a good bit harder to get into this locker without making a lot of racket. Overall, it is a little on the flimsy side as other reviews have mentioned, but it will fit the bill as a decent dorm locker. It’s not a safe by any means. The issues I would have to point out that could be improved upon would be, in no specific order: • Packing could be better. There were a couple of bent pieces that had to be manhandled back into the correct shape, and there are some scratches and scuffs that some people might be upset about, but at this price point, no biggie for me. It’ll likely be covered with magnets and stickers in short order anyway. • The bottom of the locker should be fitted a good bit tighter. IDs, credit/debit cards and other small items can easily slip through the cracks at the bottom and end up on the floor. I drilled a couple of extra holes and used the left over hardware to try and close the sides up a bit, but it will probably take some gaffer’s tape on the insides around the bottom to close it up (see photos). • Some of the pre-drilled holes on one of the side pieces didn’t align well with the front, causing some “wrinkling” of the side (see photo). Again, not a huge deal for me, but anyone planning to use this item in their home might have an issue with it. The side pieces, by the way, are very flimsy compared to the rest of the pieces. You have to be very careful not to bend these as they could crease super easily. • The assembly instructions—a single, 2-side letter-sized page—are a poor attempt at Ikea-style pictograms without the clear illustrations that Ikea uses. Once again, this wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but it did take some extra time to figure a few things out, for instance, why would they indicate needing 10 screws and nuts for a specific step when there are 17 holes in the concerned area? After reading ahead, I finally figured out that you’re not supposed to put screws in 7 of the holes yet because they were to be reserved for another step. So yeah, there’s a bit of sleuthing required for clarity. • Finally, there’s an odd note included in step 6 of the instructions (the only text direction in the whole thing, leading me to wonder if it was possibly added later after customer complaints): “If the lock is broken here, replace it with G,” G being one of three extra plastic retaining pins used to secure the locking mechanism (see photos). Surely there’s a better way to secure the slide than with plastic pins? But at least they give you extras. I guess. At any rate, I think it will work fine for our needs. It only has to make it for a year at a minimum. Anyone who expects a beefier product should ante up that arm and leg that folks are selling their old beat up school lockers for.

I love this vintage metal locker. The color is perfect. The size is appropriate for my space. And it's deep so it holds more than I expected.

Great pc and holds vinyl LPs as well....
I rarly leave reviews... and here I find myself leaving 2 in one day. This little cabnet was intended to be some extra storage for a vintage camera lens collection... so I could free up some space in some similar cabnets for my CD collection... To my surprise this thing will also just barely (but it works) hold vinyl records... "SCORE"... I may buy a few more... But all that crap said... my point is on assembly etc... "took a miniute" to figure out the pictures/assembly manual... yes they are all a "puzzle"... that said... once i got going on it... frankly I have never assembled a pc of mail order furniture or anything else... that "fit better"... and was "simpler" as I got going on the project... The "decorative" tap in rivits threw me for a loop with the little hammer that comes with it... but i totally understood after following through they are decorative where they use them, and are sort of "slick" as place holders etc and design details... Anyway I would not hestiate to buy another one... and a few friends who collect vinyl records are now interested, as with closed doors on the collection... makes for a nice sort of industrial/untilitarian vibe to the collections... Great product... NO this is not a "steelcase" locker.... but for the "loot" its really really good and would buy again... hope they have it avial for a long time... and perhaps a 2 locker hight for sofa end tables or night stands....
