QRxLabs 5% Niacinamide Serum with 1% Retinol & Alpha Arbutin - 2 Fl Oz - Anti-Aging Retinol Serum for Face, Pore Minimizer & Wrinkle Reducer

I was a little skeptical because I’ve never heard of this company, but this serum has really good ingredients so I took a chance. I bought this to fade my acne scars and while I’ve only been using it for one week, I can already see a noticeable difference in the marks. It’s not a miracle overnight product but it’s definitely working (slowly but surely). This product does not irritate or sensitize my skin at all, even though I’ve tried applying it twice a day on some days. The first couple days I did have a minor breakout but the spots were extremely small and went away quickly with the help of the serum. I think this might have been just a slight purge, but I chose to stick I out and now my skin just keeps looking more and more clear. My skin is also looking brighter (probably because of the Niacinamide?) and smoother. I am 23 and I’m hoping that this will help prevent wrinkles. The other products I use with this are: CosRx Low ph Good Morning Gel cleanser, Etude House Soon Jung 2x Intensive barrier cream, and Cerave AM facial moisturizing lotion with spf.The product itself is very thin and soaks into my skin pretty much immediately which I like as opposed to being thick and sticky because I don’t have to sit there and wait a long time to apply my moisturizer before the serum dries. The bottle is opaque which is great for storing retinol.Hopefully with more time it will completely fade my acne scars so I can finally have clear skin! Everyone has different skin but I would definitely recommend trying this and seeing if it works for you. Just keep in mind that patience is key and good things take time! Don’t give up if you don’t get overnight results (trust me I wish there was a silver bullet product too) Just give it a chance to see the full effects, it can take up to 8-12 weeks for retinol to have its full effect on the skin.I will update this post in 3 weeks to tell you guys my 1 month progress with my acne scars.

I got this because I have big pores ! I also am prone to acne ! BUT this does not actually make your pores smaller. They make them look smaller by unclogging them and encouraging top layer skin growth that kinda squeezes them ! Laser treatment can burn away the top of pores so they actually are smaller but it's not a pleasant experience ! Dermafill by skin perfection can also make them smaller by adding more top layer skin. This is a huge help for a smoother looking face. I am now on my 7th bottle and swear by it . I have less acne and breakouts and healthier skin. It is at a concentration low enough so that you do not have to worry about sun exposure and you can use everyday ! I have never had a rash . It does dry out fast on its own but both vitamin A (retinol) and Vitamin B3 (nicinamide) are know to do that . That's why I mix mine with loreal revalift and Euceryn as well as retase by skin perfection (all these reduce pores as well). I highly recommend this because one bottle last a long time and its a good price. No red skin or peeling but effective enough ! So all 5 stars ! I hope you may have found this helpful . The effect of tightening that you feel is witch hazel. I used the whole bottle only on the right side of my face so I can compare it to the left side. There isn't any noticeable improvement in comparison to the left side. If I look really really hard the pores might be a tiny bit smoother. In the beginning the skin on the right side of my face felt tighter because of wich hazel and looked a bit better because i did not use moisturizer on my left side.The formula does not feel sticky or leave residue, the skin soaks it up really well.But no skin rejuvenation or such nonsense.I would give the product 3 stars because it is a great moisturizer but it gets an extra star for being vegan. And I will buy it again for those 2 reasons.

I am so shocked!!!! I just turned 40 and over the last year I feel like my skin has aged 10 years. Between the hormanal acne, the scars left from hormonal acne, and oversized pores, my skin looked horrible. On top of everything else, my skin is oily and sensitive. I was using products by Dr. Gross and they were great, but they just became a financial burden so I had to switch. I purchased this product along with the Glycolic/Salicylic Acid 10/2 Acne Control Pads on 4/3/2020 and started using them 2 days later. I used the serum twice a day (morning and night). I was using the pads daily but found that they are strong enough that 2-3 times a week would suffice. The transformation that I saw in my skin within the following few weeks was AMAZING!!!1. My pores are much tighter2. My skin looks and feels so smooth3. The old acne scarring is fading more and more each week.4. My skin looks bright and fresh*Throughout the first few weeks, my skin began to purge, so I broke out. I've worked on my own skin long enough to know that this is normal so it didn't really worry me. Those breakouts were short-lived, and didn't leave any lasting damage. Even with the breakouts, the overall texture my skin looked better than it had since I was in my early 30s.The serum lasted 2 months with me using it 2 times a day. I'm heavy handed so I probably used more than I should.I can't rave enough about this product. I am just so excited to not have to put foundation on everytime I leave the house.

I suffered from acner in my teens and have acne scars left behin. After using this product I noticed it did reduced scares BUT after using it for 2 weeks my skin started to break out.
