Exactly what I was looking for!
Searching for a proper size bedspread for my king bed is always a challenge. I don’t like thick comforters and quilts/coverlets that fall too short. I had high hopes when I ordered this bedspread and it met my expectations. I live at the beach and I love the subtle sea creature/shell print. Have not washed it yet but so far it looks good and is lightweight and cozy.

Nice LIGHTWEIGHT quilt coverlet
Was hesitate as this is one of the lower priced spreads. It is VERY nice and certainly well worth the cost. The ivory color I purchased has a creamy more yellow/tan like color and the reversible side is white (and is really a bright white). Nice LIGHTweight quilt. The design is nice seashell and all looked well made and fine. Surprising good looking considering this was one of the lower priced quilts.Great for warm climates (like Florida). Not too heavy. Other I tried were too heavy for a warm climate. It is a coverlet (not a king size bedspread) so do not expect it to reach the floor on all sides. I had bought bedskirt and was expecting I would need one anyway. Since I was buying a king size my only option was a bedskirt. So anyone wanting to cover up the bed to the floor needs to consider adding in a bedskirt or buying the next size bigger.

Great Quality
I bought this bedspread for my king size 18inch pillowtop mattress. This bedspread had everything I was looking for at a great price! The color is true to the picture,. And the stitching is absolutely beautiful on the front and back! The two pillow shams are definitely a plus, they are made just as well as the. Bedspread. This cover is light , cool, durable and extremely soft.. Perfect. for warm summer nights

Nice, but what were they thinking with the backing color?
My husband and I were looking for a washable covering for our king-sized bed to replace the one we have now, which is dry-clean only. (We have pets, and they have basically ruined our very nice dry-clean-only silk duvet. Washable is a must these days.) We needed one that comes in dark purple to go with our bedroom decor, and hope this one would fill the bill.Pros:This is better-looking in person than in the picture. The shell pattern is cute, and the color is a rich eggplant purple that looked very good in our master bedroom. It’s a little redder than the way the picture looks on my computer, but it’s pretty close, and the difference could just be due to my monitor settings. It comes with two king-sized shams. The microfiber texture of the topside is very nice - a soft, almost suede-like texture. The texture of the underside is not quite as nice, but reasonably soft -kind of a poplin texture. We are picky about the texture of our bedding, and do not enjoy rough-textured bedding. We would have been OK with the texture of both sides. The size is good. So many so-called king-sized coverings are not even big enough to completely cover the sides and end of the mattress. We have a thick Tempurpedic mattress, and this would be big enough to fully cover the sides and end of our mattress. Caveat: if you want to cover your box spring/platform, and you have a king-sized bed, you will want a bedskirt. This will not come to the floor as shown in the picture, unless you go one size up, which, of course, is impossible if you have a king-sized bed.The quality seems to be reasonably good, especially for the price, based on a cursory inspection. We have seen much more expensive sets that were of a lesser quality than this set.Cons (only one):The color of the underside of the bedspread is fuschia. It looks much brighter than in the picture. What were they thinking? The dark eggplant color of the topside looks great in our bedroom, the fuschia underside, not so much. Because of that, and only because of that, we are returning this. If the underside had been less brightly-colored, more of a muted red-violet like the picture, I think we would have been OK with it, but, as it is, the bright lining color looks very “teenagery”, but what teenager has a king-sized bed?For what it’s worth, the backside of the shams is the same color as the underside of the bedspread, and the material of both is a lighter material than the outside. The lining does not have the pattern, as shown in the picture. It is a simple poplin texture.Overall, we would likely have kept this is the lining color hadn’t been so lurid.

Very nice bedspread
I get many compliments on this bedspread. Not my usual color or theme but I recently moved from the desert to the beach so changing things up! The pattern is not too busy and the color is really nice. Easy to put other colors with it. It's not real heavy but it is warm! I just wish it was longer at the foot...length wise. The sides almost go to the floor, which I like, but the head and foot is about 12" short from the floor. I put a bench at the foot of the bed so it isn't too noticeable.

Makes my bed feel like a vacation spot
I have had this coverlet for over a week on my bed and I LOVE it! the colors are vibrant (I ordered the teal) and I love the patterns embossed into it. It is on the thinner side so it easily fits into my smaller washer but still is soft and warm. I also have 2 dogs who like to sleep up on the bed and so far it doesn't seem to collect the dog hair like crazy. I have 2 hound/lab mixes with shorter softer hair and some microfiber blankets seem to show dog hair after just a couple of hours. My dogs don't shed terribly and I am glad to see this doesn't pull off more hair. I am thinking about ordering a second one just so I can have one in the wash while one is on the bed.
