Command X-Large (20 lb) Picture Hanging Strips, 16 Pairs (32 Strips), Black

Cheap replacement for Command resulted in a shattered frame in pieces on the floor. You get what you pay for with Command.

Bought a year ago, still hanging strong. Holds up heavy frames with no give. Just make sure you get it level and straight before sticking to the wall.

We moved into a house with plaster walls. I paid to have the holes that the previous owner left behind and didn't want to go through that again. So we had the house painted and decided to use Command strips to hang pictures, calendars, and brooms from now on. They work great and don't leave any mark whatsoever when pulling them off. They are inexpensive enough to change pictures and their placements during the year.

They make hanging pictures so much easier, especially when I don’t want to put holes in my walls. The strips are easy to use and make it simple to get everything positioned where I want it before committing to where the picture will go.I especially like the X-Large size because they feel much more secure than the smaller strips I’ve used before. The black color is also nice when you’re using them with a darker frame because they’re less noticeable.These have been a great option for keeping my walls looking clean without having to pull out a hammer and nails. I would definitely recommend them if you’re looking for an easier way to hang larger or heavier pictures.

Last night I finally hung all my art and photos - only to be woken up every 10 minutes with them crashing off my walls and calling in 2 hours late to work to clean up all the glass. Here is what happened: I’ve used Command strips for at least the last 5+ years. LOVE THEM as a renter. I always buy strips that can hold more weight than I need. I use 2 strips per frame. Never had an issue. Not once.I moved in June and have TONS of art and photos ranging from 4x6 frames to framed paintings weighing about 7 lbs. And due to life circumstances, I finally got a moment to hang up all my wall decor using 2 batches of command strips I purchased after moving (one in June and one in August - I have a lot of framed wall decor). I spent about 10 hours carefully leveling and applying pressure each time. And I was relieved to finally be set up in my new place.I went to bed about 2.5 hours later… and starting around 1am, I was woken up every dozen or so minutes to a frame falling from the wall. I needed to get sleep so I would go back to sleep and then be woken up several minutes… Minutes… later with an another frame coming off the wall.I woke up an hour early, knowing that I had glass covering every floor in every room from these frames shattering… I probably have several thousand dollars invested in my frame jobs by the way…. And even with that extra hour in the morning, I still had to call in to work two hours late cleaning up all the glass and now have a pile of broken, framed, art, and photos sitting on my living room floor.When I opened the batches, I bought in June and August. I thought it was weird that the strip he removed to expose the adhesive was clear and did not have the green command written in diagonal repeating lines. But I did notice the difference.I went to the store today and purchased a package and they had that green striped command text… And as soon as I got home 4 1/2 hours ago, I tested out the store bought bunch, and not a single broken frame has fallen off my wall. And I bought a small/medium mix pack - meaning some of the ones I was using that failed last night were supposed to hold considerably more weightI do not know why the two most recent batches of command strips that I bought from Amazon failed me the way they did. But this is a nightmare. Years of investing my money in professional framing for my art and photos… An entire day hanging photos… A work night with no sleep… And waking up to glass covering every floor in my home…This is a nightmare. I do not wish upon anybody else. Go to the store and buy your command strips.YES I GET IT. AMAZON IS CONVENIENT. But I’m leaving reviews on the two batches I purchased in June and August… Do not buy from the sellers. They are not legitimate and they do not hold your frames… So the 20 minutes you saved running to the store is going to seem silly when you’ve thrown away money on frames And hours on cleaning up broken glass .Just go to the store.Learn from my mistake.

These serve their purpose for sure. Good price... kinda. My paint was ripped so now I have to buy paint and fix the spots. Not all of them did I had like 8 so 4 pairs on the wall. Definitely safe i never had a problem with them falling. Stickiness well it ripped my paint 😄. You cant see them so it looks great. Maybe be more careful when removing them but i dont know how much more careful I could have been. Good product overall

I wiped the wall first, then pressed the paired strips into place and followed the directions before hanging the frame. It took a little care to line everything up, but I managed it on the first try. The frame has stayed put, including on a busy morning when I shifted my desk and bumped the wall with my chair. That was the moment I felt glad I chose strips instead of reaching for a drill.

Does exactly what it's advertised to do. I have yet to see if it's as easy to remove as they say, but it's been doing a fine job thus far! Would recommend!

Hung a white board and within 6 months the glue delaminated and it fell off wall onto the floor. Not as advertised. Amazon not able to assist with defective product after 30 days.

je suis une grande utilisatrice de "command 3M"..., mais ceux-ci ne collaient pas et le velcro ne s'aggrippaient pas. Gaspillage d'argent. (oui, j'ai suivi les instructions !) MISE À JOUR: je passe de 1 étoile à 5 étoiles car elles tiennes mes embrasses de rideau en fer (rideaux et embrasses assez lourd)

No funcionan, no pegan y enseguida se cae cualquier cosa que se iba a colgar...
