As others have said, these are really strong magnets. They come in little foam blocks with the magnets inserted into slots in the foam. I mention this only because the sticky pads that come with them are also tucked into the slots in the foam and it's easy to miss that they are there. I bought them to hold my phone inside my A5 folder while I am doing wildlife surveys so I can keep an eye on my location at the same time as writing notes. I have used two next to each other to stop the phone from swiveling but I think one would probably do the job just as well!

Very strong magnets for the size.The 4 were packed well to a point.Unfortunately I struggled to get them out of their bag. And as I did so, the magnets flew out of their individual foams, stuck themselves together so violently that 1 magnets chipped severely ans the chip flew and hit my face.Then they proved to be so strong my arthritic hands could not separate them and I needed help. (Even the friend who helped me was impressed with their strength).I wish they were packaged in a slightly larger bag to help make it easier to get at them.Defo value for money.Will defo hold up fairly heavy jars by their lids to bottom of a high shelf.I recommend but please take care when opening them. Don't get injured like me.

Great magnets, very strong, i had the stack jump about a foot or more off my desk to knock a pot with a spoon out my hands.I used these magnets for 2 purposes, one was to put on remotes to keep them from getting lost, one i directly stuck a magnet on the back of a remote and the other on the edge of my desk, that worked great.The other remote was too small to stick the magnets to the outside, i was able to stick 2 magnets on the inside (the remote is quite heavy and due to stupid internal design the magnet was several millimeters away from the edge of the palstic so the magnets probably have about a 4-5 mm gap between them including the plastic of the case) and that was strong enough to hold the remote onto a single magnet stuck to the side of the desk.The rest of the magnets were used to hold my window open, i literally just took the rest of the magnets with the plastic dividers kept in place to keep the extra spacing with one sticky pad stick on the end magnet on the window and the other end of the stack with one pad to hold it to the window alcove and it's holding perfectly.Was a pain removing a magnet once the sticky pad had stuck, so seems to be pretty good adhesive.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Bought these to make a superhero outfit for my son. Arrived with one cracked, with sharp fragments that cut my finger. Two magnets snapped together as I took them out of the packaging and another one snapped. Conclusion: cheap rubbish, potentially dangerous. Avoid.
