Yeah yall are just gonna have to deal with the sounds of me touching the mic lmao Noise cancelation only works when connected by USB-C. If your using this on your xbox, go into the party chat, press options, turn on noise suppression. This is the same with discord on xbox also. Xbox has THE BEST noise suppression out there for background noise and i will die on that hill. You're welcome... Overall this mic is pretty good, for what it is it's great tbh. (If you have a wired headset, this section will not apply to you) I use an the official Xbox wireless headset as my gaming headset, I love the sound quality of it especially since it has dolby atmos built in. But the mic on this headset.. its absolute garbage man.. I've seen plenty of reviews saying the mic is good but nah, the mic on this headset is horrible. Either that or I got a lemon. Anyway.. Since I am using a wireless headset, getting this mic to work in party chat is kind of a headache. This headset connects to my xbox wirelessly and also to my phone via Bluetooth simultaneously. When i plug in the mic to my controller it still only picks up my headset mic, not the wired one. So in order to bypass the headset mic I have to plug the mic into my controller, then I have to like use my phone and either like make a call or do like a voice search or something so my headset mic disconnects from my xbox and starts working on my phone. When that happens the wired mic starts working for party chat. Then I can stop the voice search or call on my phone and the headset fully reconnects to the xbox but the headset mic stays disconnected. Idk why it is such a pain but it works nonetheless. For some reason if you try using the discord party on xbox, this will not work, it will pick up the wired mic, but you won't be able to hear chat. It's stupid. For this reason I'm buying wired powered headphones (Bose QC35 II). Now.. I think the mic has a good sound to it, it's definitely clear. People can hear me alot more clearly now and that's exactly what I wanted. The housing of the mic is just plastic, it's cheaply made but for the price I dont expect anything less. There is foam padding on the inside of the housing acting as a pop filter but like, it's EXTREMELY thin and I honestly dont think it does a whole lot. I honestly think it's more there to be a light diffuser for the rgb lights more than it is to absorb excess sound. That's hands down my biggest complaint but it is what it is. The swivel mount it's on is sturdy, I have it on a mic boom, no complaints about it. It does it's job just fine. The mute button is alright, you gotta press tap it a little harder tha what i expected but its not a big deal. Sound output is just like having your headset plugged into your controller. For 50-60 dollars I am more than pleased with what I got. Someone for the love of God make a good video on this thing on YouTube.

I have been using the ZealSound BD9 microphone for a while now. It is really great to see how much this microphone gives you for around $50. The sound quality of the microphone is clear. It sounds very natural. This makes the BD9 microphone perfect for things like gaming, streaming, Zoom meetings, podcasting or recording videos. This microphone is a lot better than microphones that cost about the same. The controls are easy to use. If you long press the top, it will flash twice which means active noise cancellation is active. It does a great job of minimizing background noise so your voice sounds clean and clear. If you tap the top it will mute microphone. This is very useful when you are on a call or doing a stream and you need some privacy. The RGB lighting is really cool. It has 7 RGB modes that look amazing on my desk and they make my gaming setup look so much better. I also like that I can use the RGB lighting when I'm streaming. If I want my desk to look simple and neat I can turn the RGB lighting off. I really like that I can turn off the RGB lighting because it gives me the option to have a professional look when I need it. Setup is true plug-and-play with no drivers required, and the build quality feels solid and well-made. Overall, the ZealSound BD9 delivers excellent performance, useful features, and great design at an unbeatable price. If you’re looking for the best microphone you can buy for $50, this is it!

1 year review- Awesome microphone, for the price you can’t beat it honestly. the LED is awesome on it; although you cannot change its colors. Hopefully in the future they will tweak this and Make software for their lighting Gear. The microphone sound obviously isn’t going to beat a blue yeti, or a hyper x for the price; mainly just talking about the background sound it picks up, which can be fixed with software. But if you run the gain low and have the mic close you’re set. the Sound interface in the mic overall is pretty good i couldn’t have any complaints like i said the price is amazing for what you get and you can seamlessly adjust with the knobs on the mic which is a huge plus. Overall, I’ve just loved the hell out of the mic as it features the push to mute and hold to turn off features as well. If you just want a cool setup and you’re not making content get this mic for sure. If you’re trying to make content on a budget, use software to fix the background capture sounds. However my mic is still going strong standing for over 30 dollars So i think it pays for itself.

Bought this so I can run solos on Arc Raiders and not give myself a permanent head dent. Mic quality is good and it works on Xbox without some weird workaround, however it picks up background noise so if you are running external speakers like I do when i'm not in party chat everyone can hear your game audio. Was simple to set up and overall' works really well, if you find it on sale definitely worth it.

For the price, this is a really good microphone. Clear and crisp. It has a mute option on top of the mic by just tapping it. It has a dial to adjust the input level on capturing sound. It has another dial to adjust volume, and it has a built in "Direct Monitor," mode that you can NOT turn off. This basically means that you can hear your own voice and other sounds in the room that the mic picks up through the headphones, which I like tbh. Just FYI for PS5 players: You will NOT produce the same quality when using this mic because the PS5 has to "compress," the mic so that it's able to work. But on your phone/PC, it's good 👍

If I could id give it 0 the mics cord broke on me and I bought a replacement cord for it and it just doesn't work anymore the mic is only good if you keep the cord completely well and good. DO NOT BUY UNLESS THE CORD IS PROTECTED AT ALL TIMES THING BREAKS IF YOU USE ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE CABLE THAT CAME WITH IT

I bought this because it would record to an iPhone but the sound quality was never much better than my iPhone 13 microphone and then after using it for a couple times I started to get a high pitched whine on the recording. It may be user error but there aren’t many options to troubleshoot as it’s just a plug and play. Was using it to record myself learning the guitar. Did not work for my use case at all. Looks like I’m past the refund window as well. UPDATE - good service from the company they’ve reached out to try to help with the problem. I used the usb/iphone adapter with this product with a different mic I have for work and it seemed better so I might just move that mic back and forth instead of trying to find another one since this is a sunk cost.

I wanted something to use that was simple and works great. It does pick up every noise around, but that is good if you have others singing.

This is my first mic ever and it works fine for my kind of voiceover projects. It looks really good due to lightning features and we can turn the light on and off with one tap. I’ve never tried any other mics so no idea how this mic compared with other mics.

This mic has amazingly clear audio! I use this to play vr chat. I used to use the built in one and people always had trouble hearing me but with this mic everyone says my voice is so clear! It’s super easy to set up. I have it set up to my pc and play the game in pcvr. It works well. I haven’t really had to adjust any settings at all and it’s crystal clear! I would certainly recommend the mic to anyone that’s having difficulty with others hearing you through your mic now!
