I tried this stuff for the first time tonight as a rice substitute. Prep was very easy. I emptied 2 bags into a mesh strainer, rinsed, and then placed in a bowl with a paper towel on the bottom to dry it off. I’ve heard that some brands can smell or taste weird but that wasn’t my experience with this at all. It has zero smell and zero taste. This stuff looks just like rice but the different is noticeable when you chew it. The texture is similar to soaked chia seeds or maybe the little pods of tapioca in tapioca pudding. Overall I really like it as a substitute and will buy again when these run out. There are no carbs and basically no calories so it makes reaching weight loss goals much easier.

These noodles are amazing and easy to cook. No weird smell. Just perfect for any dish.

Being diabetic, eating rice flat noodles is the worst case. If you crave for all type of noodles. This noodle is perfect. It taste good and chewy. It does not spike up the blood sugar level. The instruction suggested to clean thoroughly as it may smell fishy. However, I didn’t smell it. I will try others like spaghetti, fettuccine and rice next.

This product is ok, my wife loves it. I gave a 4 stars because for me it has a weird texture but the taste is ok.

It took nearly a week to arrive, but the product is excellent. Perfect for my diabetic husband. I was craving hamburger helper, I know not healthy but I sauteed ground lamb, used the saucemix and ditched the wheat noodles So yummy

I love this low carb “ rice “ it’s got a good texture and no flavor. Low carb. Low calorie. High fiber.

Ordered these to try as a low cal low carb alternative to pasta. These noodles taste like absolutely nothing which I like. I can add any sauce over them and the noodles don’t affect the flavor at all. The portion sizes could have been a bit bigger but I don’t mind still plenty to enjoy with a piece of chicken or other protein. The noodles are EXTREMELY chewy and gummy. Takes some time to chew completely. Frankly if they weren’t only 6, I’d give it 2-3 stars but being so low in calories is a huge plus for calorie counting. Can easily save yourself atleast 300-400 calories for a meal by using these.
