This book came in more of a "Like New" condition than the "Good" I had decided on when I ordered it.

Cf. my comments on Vol I, which apply. Vol II includes sections related to Sima Qian's Lord, Han Wu, which make for especially interesting reading, given his tricky relationship with his master. Also includes fascinating sections on the Western Region and on the poet Sima Xiangru. Sometimes one wishes the translator, Burton Warton, had given the original term and explanations in footnotes; many translations are anachronistic. E.g., when he has "China," what did the original text have?
