This product absorbs very well and doesn’t leave the yellow/orange color on your skin. Works well.

My Dr used this after I had surgery. It's a little messy and requires a dressing to keep it off your clothes but really an awesome betadine antiseptic ointment. Easier than the liquid to use and cheaper than getting it at the pharmacy.

After a recent surgery, the incision was cleaned with iodine when my sutures were removed and the dressing was changed. I was looking for a povidone iodine cream I'd be able to use when I changed the dressing myself, and discovered this listing for this ointment. Compared to the typical liquid form, the thicker viscosity of this product makes it much easier to use. The 1 oz. quantity is helpful here, since povidone iodine has a short shelf-life (Most sources I found report it's best to use it 2-4 weeks/1 month after opening, and that the potency gradually decreases after that. Definitely recommended, and will buy it again for myself as needed.

This ointment helped heal a sore on my heel that I kept brushing against and consequently breaking the scab off. It apparently heals faster than other ointments. My sore has completely healed. 'Worth a try.

had a persistent red and painful sore, not a cut just always red and sore. tried other ointments even prescribed by a doctor which became too expensive and did not work . reviewed products online and purchased rugby first aid now a second time and very pleased on the way its healing and no pain.

Good product as an ointment. No staining. It might defeat the purpose of drying things out as regular iodine does, because it's an ointment, but it does sooth the area used on.

Love this product! Was recommended years ago and we have used it ever since. Hard to find.
