This is my 3rd camera, second pan and tilt. The picture is so clear, and the infrared makes spring on my cats, and fosters so easy. I'd definitely recommend it

I love these. They connect easily and I have purchased additional cameras for my home. The app works great with them.

After using the camera for about 2 weeks, I found it to be quite decent for the price point. While initially I had a lot of problems setting up and operating the camera when I first received it, most of the problems were resolved from a firmware release. My main issue with it currently is that the camera can be unresponsive sometimes in streaming video to the app. If you open the app and haven't used the camera in a while, it will show up as offline even though it is regularly pushing event notifications. If you attempt to view the video stream, it will fail to load the video until you attempt multiple times. This can be problematic if there is an event that happened that you need to watch in real-time. I'm hopeful that this can be further resolved with another firmware release. I regularly use the Wyze Cam v3 so naturally, I mentally compared this camera against that one. Both cameras are very similar in features. Both offer recording to microSD or cloud and integrate with the same cloud services (Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa). The Wyze has the leg up on having better night vision and RTSP support, but the user interface on the Switchbot app is a lot better in that it is easier to navigate and the settings you want to access are more easily accessible. In addition, Switchbot has a privacy mode in which the camera lens completely closes for the privacy-conscious. I found the motion detection and motion tracking to be really good on the Switchbot. You can even set the motion detection to specifically only alert on human motion although I wish there was a way to set a cooldown for alerts so they don't keep going off. I wish the next version of this camera would be able to tilt even further down since with the camera on a table next to my baby's playpen, it is still unable to get the full view of the playpen without mounting it higher up.

Got it to use in our toddlers room and the camera is wonderful. App doesn’t go offline every 10-30 minutes like our last but our kid is at a place where he wants me to talk to him but this camera doesn’t seem to allow it. I’ve put the volume all the way to 10, enabled 2 way audio since the one way, walkie talkie function didn’t work at all. Short charger cord too, barely makes it from the wall mount to the floor, no clue how I’d do a ceiling mount. Debating whether to return it. Oh. Cannot use dual band wifi either - had to create a totally separate 2.4gHz network which isn’t a huge issue but enough of a pain to make me think twice about returning.

Fast and easy to use with the app ecosystem

The camera tracks my dog until they go out of the angel of view. If the camera tracks all the way to left and doesn't pick them up moving back. Then the camera is all the way to the left or right field of view. Now there is a blind spot and no camera coverage. If the camera were to come back to center after what it is tracking is out of view. Would be a great fix. The camera isn't user friendly compared to other camera that I use. With the not coming back to center makes it not worth my time on the learning curve. I do have temperature sensors that work great and smart plugs that were perfect until I did a firmware update. Update 02/18/2024. SwitchBot has followed up and the camera will not come back to center. I have since found another problem. The camera doesn't download the video when you press the download icon. It only downloads the thumbnail. You have to play the video and record the video, to get a copy of it. This is the same for the indoor camera also. Good camera if you can work with the limitations. The indoor camera will not detect my cat, but this camera does detect the cat. I suggest you use SwitchBot camera in every possible way and make sure they do what you want in the thirty day return window.

Like all the swtchbot devices it just works. Really can’t beat it. Really happy with all the cameras and blind tilt motors, they’re all awesome

Die Kamera ist immer nur zeitweise im Einsatz, erfüllt dabei aber alle Funktionen voll und ganz. Die Kamera besitzt viele Funktionen wie beispielsweise Bewegungserkennung oder -Verfolgung. Zum lokalen Speichern wird eine SD-Karte benötigt, ansonsten kann man zahlungspflichtig auf die Cloud zurückgreifen. Das Erkennen der SD-Karte hat einige Anläufe gebraucht, am Ende hat es aber geklappt. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis würde ich bei der Kamera als sehr gut bewerten.

Bought it to keep an eye on the house / cats while being on holiday leave. Set up was fast (pairing with QR) and easy like with the other SwitchBot products. Great functionality within the app, allowing to pan/zoom around, motion detection works perfect and night mode is very handy as well. Can recommend for sure for this price!

Using it as a baby monitor, the camera quality is much better than the competition. All competing baby monitors are 1080 which do not give good quality when zoomed in. This camera has 2k video feed so zoom looks much better. It's 360 camera so no matter how I keep it I can rotate it to check the surroundings. Was very easy to setup. Just took a minute and then was up and running. Motion detection works well. SD card storage means I don't need to pay for cloud storage. Google home and Alexa setup was very easy and convenient as competitor baby monitors don't have this support for video feed. Highly recommend the 2k version. Very good company.

Cette caméra est très sympa avec des fonctions intéressantes réservée habituellement à des caméra beaucoup plus chères. L'application de pilotage est très bien pensée et ergonomique. J'ai la possibilité d'afficher plusieurs caméra en même temps. Des fonctions pertinentes comme le motion tracking sont très intéressantes, elle permet de suivre les mouvements par exemple si quelqu'un passe devant la caméra, celle ci suivra le mouvement de la personne pour enregistrer ce qu'elle pourrait faire évitant de rater un événement hors champ. Ceci indépendamment de la détection de mouvement. Deplus, il existe une fonction pour le vous alerter que lorsqu'un humain est détecté, évitant les fausses détections dues à un chat ou un chien Il existe aussi une fonction de "vie privée" qui permet de tourner la caméra dans un angle mort ne permettant pas de voir ce qu'il se passe. Sympa à activer quand on est à la maison. Il faut juste penser à le désactiver en partant, notamment avec le bouton de la même marque.... Autre fonction appréciable, c'est la possibilité de couplé la caméra avec un écran intelligent, google hub ou Amazon écho show, et de demander à voir la caméra qui s'affichera à l'écran, c'est rapide et de bonne qualité. Je recommande cette caméra. Pour un prix très raisonnable, pour la qualité.

I mainly use it to keep an eye on the house while I’m away and to make sure everything is safe and in order. The motion detection alerts are accurate without being overly sensitive, and the app is intuitive and user-friendly. The build quality is solid, and it has been working flawlessly since day one.
