I was looking for a small carafe with strainer for brewing tea with tea leaves, and then came upon this Sipologie infuser mug. Since my purpose was to mostly brew for one person, this mug looked relevant to me. So, I looked into it a bit more, and eventually purchased it (- the red color one). Delivery was quick. The mug is indeed as advertised - ceramic, with infuser and lid. All the parts seem to be of high quality. The infuser needs special mention, in that its holes are very fine, so even tiny bits of leaves can't escape into the tea. It has a small extension to hold while placing into the mug or while taking it out from the mug. The infuser goes somewhat deep into the mug, so we can brew less quantity of tea too. The mug looks a bit bigger than what I anticipated, but its specification says 300 ml - I didn't measure its capacity. And it's a bit heavy, not lightweight. The mug is a bit expensive but worth it. It was Rs. 850 for me on Amazon, though on Sipologie website, it seems to be available for cheaper price. On the box, its MRP is Rs. 1199. Definitely recommendable!

The cup and infuser is of good quality and infuser mesh is fine

Very useful product, good quality ceramic mug and stainless steel infuser. The lid helps to cover the mug to retain the heat as well as for the strainer to rest on after steeping. Quite weighty in hand. However, while Amazon charged Rs.850 for the mug the manufacturer Sipologie has quoted a price of Rs.699+75 delivery charges on their e-commerce website. Why the difference?

The glaze and material is smooth and looks good The coaster is a bit unstable for cup but not that bad... I wish it did have some kind of handle though like In the sieve bcz it gets too hot during brewing and a bit hard to handle The seive is okay.. not superfine.. but good enough... not fine enough for tea powder residue or some herbal teas or filter coffee.. but good for leaves... and the brew basket is not that deep if you want like half a cup Compared to other cups outside becomes too hot and the liquid gets too cold too soon... so may not be great for slow tea drinkers like me or people who like there beverage too hot. Overall its a good enough system in one.. for brewing teas...
