Holy moly if you have issues communicating, especially in your love and professional lives. This book is for you. I’m in love with the XYZ statements because I was raised in a household where I was “taught” do as I say, not as I do! I was not allowed to openly express my emotions and feelings the chance to speak out for myself. This ruined many relationships in my life. This book is on time! I think about this book whenever im in conversation with someone! Its a steal that will definitely improve your life for the better.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I think one of the most difficult things we can do as human beings is listen to the other person as they speak their point of view; which can become quite complicated sometimes when we have different opinions. This book really dives deep into really showing how to listen with empathy. This book showcases Great dialogue skills that we can all take advantage of and practice to have more meaningful conversations.

Loved this book and how it helped me learn to express myself more with clarity. It also helped me understand XYZ statements and that I need yo speak in 1st person not in 3rd person with others about myself and my feelings.

The book has very good ideas. Most are practical communication techniques. It is wonderful for couples and if you have someone you can practice the techniques with regularly your communication will become much better. As for me I’m single most of my communication is at work. As a nurse I spend a lot of time listening. As for my personal life using the information takes a lot of thought. It is just a retraining process.

This book has been a blessing to me , everyone should have to read this book in school to learn to talk to one another. It's a wonderful skill to develop and work on that blesses your home life professional life family life and all relationships. It's a MUST READ.It's crazy that we think we communicate/listen fine but in reality we really don't and no one really teaches you the how's on communication.If your marriage is struggling, this will most certainly help !!

I really like this book. It had several great chapters among all the rest. A couple of a witch were the XYZ formula plus the problem, solving information and formats and followed up well with the 12 step communication exercise, exercise, and ended well with restating some of the main topics which facilitate The full grass of all the information by it being repeated in a constructive and timely mannerThanks again for all your effortsMay God bless you to keep on blessing us with this positive information which hopefully brightens up many people's livesThanks
