INCREDIBLY good!
OK, so I've never liked raisins in my whole life, until a year ago when I tried a few so-called golden raisins (turns out they've got stuff added to them alas), which were good enough I'd eat again. But I'm a fan of Newman's salad dressings, so I tried these on a whim.Lucky me!!! These are SPECTACULAR. Fresh, juicy (not dried up and hard, which has been my lifelong objection to raisins), and mellow, without the slightly bitter off-putting taste I had always associated with raisins in the past. The resealable bag is easy and convenient (although a little sticky, because these raisins are very moist). Frankly I don't know how it's done, but Nell Newman is to be congratulated. NO ADDITIVES, and still DELICIOUS!! Will keep in stock at my house.STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!!

These are the best raisins on the market and I understand this is a totally subjective statement
Our local supermarket chain was recently bought by another large grocery chain and so far they are not carrying Newman's Own organic raisins. I didn't think it mattered until I started buying other raisins, organic and non-organic, and discovered a myriad of flavors in the raisin world. I did not know there could be so many different tastes from raisins and none of them anywhere close to the delicious flavor of the Newman's Own. Since taste is very personal, I am sure each reader of this review has their own opinion and raisin favorite. I applaud whatever raisin is your choice to love. This is my choice and it has to do with juiciness, and a subtle sugar flavor and many raisins in each can and definitely that this company shares its profits with charities. I am very happy that I can buy them on Amazon with a subscription and I don't need to care if my local grocery stocks it.

Very nice (update)
When I bought these in October 2021 I paid $34 something for them and left a 5 star review. When I reordered them in Demember I was charged $59 something for them. I didn't pay attention to the cost at the time so ended up paying a lot more for them than in October. Now the price is $55 something. I haven't ordered them since October and won't be ordering again. That's a great jump in cost, so I've reduced my review from 5 stars to 1. The raisins are good if you don't mined paying a lot of them.

SIMPLY THE BEST
The taste, texture, and appearance of NEWMAN'S OWN ORGANICS RAISINS are outstanding. These raisins are USDA CERTIFIED 100% ORGANIC, CERTIFIED ORGANIC BY OREGON TILTH, and a PRODUCT OF THE USA. Over the years, I have consumed no better brand of raisins. I am a highly informed and very particular food consumer who maintains a very healthy organic diet. I purchase no brand of raisins other than NEWMAN'S OWN ORGANICS RAISINS. In my opinion the producer of NEWMAN'S OWN ORGANICS RAISINS uses no additives (organic or otherwise) to preserve freshness or for any other reason, and the soil in the fields in which the producer grows the grapes for NEWMAN'S OWN ORGANICS RAISINS is very high quality organic soil. In the past, it was my customary practice to purchase organic raisins in bulk on a more or less weekly basis at the RAINBOW COOPERATIVE GROCERY store in San Francisco, California, where I have been purchasing all of my household groceries for the past several years. However, more than one year ago, I quit purchasing those bulk organic raisins because consumption of that product slightly aggravated a personal dietary sensitivity. The label above the store bin that contained the bulk organic raisins stated that they were 100% organic. However, each time that I consumed some of the bulk organic raisins, I experienced a sensitivity reaction. It seemed to me that the bulk organic raisins possibly had an additive (albeit organic) or possessed a characteristic that aggravated my dietary sensitivities due to a possibly inferior quality of the grape producer's soil. NEWMAN'S OWN ORGANICS RAISINS do not aggravate my sensitivities. In my opinion and according to NEWMAN'S OWN ORGANICS, its raisins have no ingredient other than natural organic raisins. The taste, texture, and appearance of NEWMAN'S OWN ORGANICS RAISINS in my experience are simply the best. I have an online subscription at AMAZON.COM for NEWMAN'S OWN ORGANICS RAISINS. I order the raisins in the airtight 15oz (425g) package size with six 15oz packages in each order unit. AMAZON delivers the raisins to my residence every month. The raisins are always fresh and moist with a product expiration date that ranges from approximately 9-15 months after the date of delivery. AMAZON delivers the shipments to my residence about 2-3 days after the shipping date. AMAZON's quality of customer service and shipping, as usual, are EXCELLENT.

My second choice, still great.
First off, I can say that I am partial to the brand of Newman's Own. without even realizing it, I have multiple products of theirs for me and my dogs. anyway, these are my second choice in dried cranberries, but that doesn't take away from the rating to me. my first choice of dried cranberries was a brand that sweetened them with apples, and they were to me the most tastiest ever. but they jacked the price up and made them no longer available for subscribe and save... so i couldn't find any other good cranberries that are organic, and sweetened with apples and not expensive and available for S&S, so Newman's Own is the next best thing. they taste a little sweeter than what I was used to, but its cool, I got used to it. I typically just munch on these throughout the day, i also throw them in my cereals, salads and homemade fruit smoothies.

Average raisins
I like raisins. I eat them by the handful or in cereal or cookies. Even with ham sometimes. But, it seems, a raisin is a raisin is a raisin - no matter who packages them. After all - a raisin is a dried grape. These are good raisins but they taste no better than grocery store raisins. Actually, I was a little disappointed. I'd read many of the reviews here and expected something wonderful like little bursts of sunshine with each bite. What I got was a good raisin. Right now I am eating some while I re-read some of the glowing reviews and listen to Peggy Lee singing, "Is That All There Is?"The price is not great but it's not bad either. It's Paul Newman so that's a good thing. They're "organic" but I'm still not sure why that's important.Average
