The lever to open the school bus door is underneath. I would have preferred these cost a bit less but given the quality, I’m OK with my purchase.

Who knows what will appeal to a 2 1/2 year old? He enjoyed the gift. But not in the traditional way. He liked the way the cars fit into their packaging and liked taking them out and putting them back into it. The cars are made well and look like they will withstand some rough handling by a little person.
