It does exactly what it says and very straight forward to install
I installed this board in an Original MadCatz Street Fighter Tournament Edition PS3 Fightstick which was originally advertised as PC compatible. However, the fightstick would only work on motherboards with a VIA chipset for the USB, so I ended up having to buy a PCI usb expander with a VIA chipset. This was never really how I wanted to use the stick since it would only work on my PS3 and the single PC I bought the PCI expander for. I always wanted to just wanted to use the fight stick as a plug and play device on any PC or console I used it on. I read about the Brook board years ago and was a little concerned about losing some of the functionality of the fightstick (LED lights and home button), but I found an excellent online tutorial on how to install it in the Madcatz fightstick without losing this functionality. I finally got around to purchasing the Brook board this year and now that I have it installed, I wish I would have done it sooner. Installation was very straight forward. In fact, despite all the wires that need to be screwed down, it is deceptively simple since the order of the brook screwdowns virtually mirror the order of the fightstick. Because I wanted to have the LED, home, and turbo button functionality, I had to do some soldering, but if you're building a fight stick from scratch or are replacing a board in an older fightstick like me and don't care about the LED or other buttons, you can install this board in probably less than 1/2 hour. The board may look a little intimidating at first but just take your time and familiarize yourself with what each terminal does and you will see it is much easier that it appears. There is very little documentation with the board, but there are excellent tutorials in forums and on youtube. The only complaint that I have is that the board outline which is on their website is not updated to reflect the layout of the current board, so a few of the inputs are in the wrong place on the diagram on the website; however, if you look carefully you can see where they moved the pinouts. Other than that it works exactly as it says, and now my fight stick is truly plug and play. If I were to do it again, I would have purchased the Universal fightboard for more compatibility. But I mostly play on the PC, so for now it does everything I need it to do and more.

Way Better/Easier than Expected!
This was my first time building a fightstick from the ground up. I've modded them before, but never bought each piece individually and put it all together. It was incredibly rewarding to plug it into my PC, fire up MAME, and proceed to play Super Turbo! Also worked great on my Rasberry Pi with RetroPie. I also tested it with my PS4 with no problems! I gotta say I can get behind this PCB. Wiring was very simple, especially because the board labels where all the wires should go. I haven't tested the audio jack, but I will update the review once I do. This PCB coming with the Neutrik port also made it very simple to plug in a micro usb and start playing! A few friends want me to build them a fightstick now, and this is going to be the board I use. 5 Stars! Great Product! ***UPDATE The audio jack works perfectly! Still very happy with this. Ordered a 2nd one for another fightstick. ***UPDATE I received my 2nd Brook Fighting Board and installed it. This one I decided to tinker around a little more with it. I was able to perfectly solder some LEDs I got on Amazon also and create a masterpiece that all my fighting game friends are jealous of! In case you are interested in doing that, on J4 use pins 19(5v) and 17(ground), or 20(5v) and 18(ground).

Added to my Vewlix, WORKS GREAT!
I put a PC in my vewlix Cab, since I won't be using the Stock Cables, I wired the buttons to this brook board and connected it to my PC, everything worked out of the gate. Great stuff, no lag either!

Works great for my raspberry pi 3 and 4
Bought this for my Raspberry Pi 3 and 4. Works great with it. No issues with set up. Input lag is much better compared to the cheap encoder boards I replaced. Also tested on my PS4, and no issues with that as well.

Worked great. Small but mighty.
Works great. For a first-timer it was a bit daunting but I bought an enclosure kit and that made things easier. Definitely recommend the harness kit for wiring ease. The breakout board worked great as well. I will update my review when I check the audio feature.

Best of the best...Quality product with a lot of support online.
It works!!! Wanted to play some SF and KOF on PC. I thought that my old PS3 SF4 Tournament Edition joystick would be plug and play. One could only hope but NOPE. After spending hours digging through my storage to find this out sucked. Luckily I was able to find this board and with the help of Youtube. I now have a working arcade stick!!! Worth every penny.

Works great on my pc
Remember to swap the jumper if you go to a sticklers setup if you want the SOCD cleaning. Easy enough to get hooked up on the mounting points of your box. I would suggest getting a wiring harness for your buttons though. Works great on my Windows 10 machine.

Works really well, two different modes of SOCD cleaning, left + right = last pressed, and left + right = neutral. Played GG Strive on PC with this for a long time. Definitely worth it. Impossible to upgrade the firmware though, seems like a common problem with Brook boards. Doesn't really need the upgrade though, everything just works.

Merci
