A very basic, but solid overview of the practice of "green witchcraft." The book does a good job of covering the surface of this sept. The lion's share of the book is an illustrated compendium of various herbs, flowers, and plants and their magical properties, followed by a number of basic spells, helpfully divided into categories of interest. An excellent, reader-friendly primer.

It was very informative and I really enjoyed reading and learning about the information it provides within its information filled pages.

Although the author keeps you involved. She does try to impress upon the reader the importance of flexibility, and learning. These works are a good place to start your journey.

I found the book helpful especially the spell casting. I'm new of sorts to "green witchery", herbal uses and spell casting, although I've been interested in holistic practices for 40 years. I believe the females in my family have/had knowledge of secret things. Ms. Blackthorn has a wonderful 1st book and should be proud of her accomplishment. I did find a couple of errors, the moon phases are backwards and the drawing representing Mistletoe is actually Holly. They are not related species. I applaud Ms. Blackthorn and her work. I hope to see more in the future. Go Girl.

This is a modern-day classic that is informative and enthusiastic, as well as a hands-on and interactive experience that provides real-world examples. I think you will find this passionate book to be powerful, educational, and very creative. It will make a lovely gift.

I had heard of Green Witchcraft but Ms. Blackthorn did an amazing job of explaining it with such great detail and in such a readable way. I look forward to becoming one with all that breath life into us and helping others in ways that they may need. I appreciate the explanations and sharing that were provided. A feel good book and practice.

I found the book gentle and accurate to new practitioners. I appreciate the effort to honor the green path as flexible and solitary. This book respects those who follow the green path without labeling green witchcraft as a type of wiccan practice (not saying it can't, but other books present green witchcraft from that lense). Loved the reference materials. Spells did not resonate with me, but I love seeing the artistry in others craft (bravo to the vulnerability there). Would recommend to anyone, but especially for those new to or interested in green witchcraft.
