I'm 5'7", 190 lbs, and when I sit in it, my hips & thighs catch on the arm rests. (see photos) Though solidly made, the chair has a lightweight "plastic" feel. If you're an adult, you definitely need to be on the skinny side to be comfortable with this chair. We ended up returning it and purchasing a small "mgr" chair from Staples. It cost less and has more cushioning and room to move.
