Great quality faceplate! I love the slender design and perfect fit for the PS5. I was unaware that it already comes with a dust proof mesh already included and attached so that even a double bonus!

I wanted black plates since I think the stock white plates look very odd (and PlayStations are supposed to be black anyways). I also like how it contours the PS5 (like Dbrand) which gives it a new look.It doesn’t come with screens to cover the half dime sized vents so I suspect it going to suck in larger fuzz that would be possible without the vents.Also, I purposefully got this more expensive brand since other reviews for black plates from other brands said they were hard to install, the fitment was loose, and had cheaper more brittle non-ABS plastic.But it still took an hour to get the disk drive plate on. I thought maybe I messed something up, so I tried the original PS5 plate again and it slide on and off in about 2 seconds… this would not fit for the life of me. I tried everything and almost messed up my disk drive from having to softly bang the back of the plate upwards to actually click into place.I worry if I ever have to take off the disc side plate, I’ll never be able to put it back on.It looks great, but without the little screens to prevent things from being sucked in and how ridiculous it was to install, I am taking 1 star off.Honestly though, it looks great and I love the contoured look.Looks cool, but if it had a screen over the vents holes and it had the same tolerances of the original PS5 plates (that take 10 seconds to install and slide like butter into place) that would be awesome.Black on black looks amazing, but take note, you might me spending time getting the disc drive late on.It is pretty high quality ABS plastic though, and it has a quasi matte satin finish (not textured matte like the original plates).No joke, you have the finesse the heck out of the disc side plate to get it to fit… it was quite frustrating.But it does look stunning, I cannot argue with that.

This thing is great. Keeps my playstation much quieter and vents extremely well. The black color is a very nice touch and the sleek design is very nice compared to the stock playstation 5 look. Very happy and highly recommended.

Love the design, the color, & not to bad of a value. However, air filters would have been ideal though I did add metal air filters internally to protect the cooling fan. Since the shell swap, it made the PS5 much cooler by 70%. Every heavy gaming has been tested from RPG games (especially Elden Ring) to almost every genre shooter games on the market. The only light warmth I've seen every to occur but hardly noticeable was call of duty.As far as durability goes it feels sturdy.
