Its always a bit of a chance ordering things like socks online. I took the risk and when I received them I immediately bought more. (now I have ~30 pairs total). I like a snug sock that is not too thick as I have a lot of form fitting shoes (mostly driving shoes). This means the thin socks I normally buy have no cushion but these are almost as thin but have some great cushion. Most importantly they do not feel all "bunched up" in my shoes. I wear a size 10 and have narrower feet - the 8-12 is perfect for me - which means they likely run a little small for your average person/foot. I have no idea how they will stand up through time but at $14 for 6 pair I will keep buying these until I find something better.
