Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diet Green Pea & Venison | Grain-Free Dry Adult Cat Food | 8-lb. Bag

My 19 yr old cat developed itchy patches behind both front legs. She scratched herself nonstop, no matter what I tried. Had to put her in pet shirts - which she HATED - while we searched for an answer. This food is it. The high quality and limited number of ingredients quickly gave her relief, and she LOVES this food. (She has always been a picky eater). Her skin has healed, most of the hair has grown back, and at the grand age of 20, she is SO much happier! Me too :-) !!

I have two large male cats who are both big eaters. Although they have both been fed a good quality, veterinarian recommended, pet store specialty kibble forever, one cat has been pulling out his hair, literally, for several months. Poor Toby Cat had become almost bald! He required continuous steroid shots in an attempt to control this problem. The other cat is a mostly Maine Coon with a bushy coat, which was rather scruffy and dull in appearance, despite brushing. I researched the entire cat problem sections on the internet, and finally decided to try Natural Balance Green Pea and Duck LID dry cat food, which I immediately ordered from Amazon. This food contains none of the usual fillers, and proteins are not ones usually encountered in other foods - major allergy inducers, especially after years of ingestion, as are grains, which are not to be found in this food. Also, most cats seem to need less of the Green Pea and Duck formula to feel satisfied. Amazingly, my Toby looks and behaves like a different cat! As does my Coon Kitty! They both now have full, shiny coats, have ceased the constant scratching and most of the constant licking (that's Toby, a diagnosed OCD). And although I did not realize this, both cats had become somewhat overweight. Both cats have lost about two pounds - they were 20+ pounders before - big boned boys, too. Now, they're both slim, trim, and more energetic! Toby has a far better disposition, since he's not concerned with his constant  Natural Balance Dry Cat Food, Limited Ingredient Diet Green Pea and Duck Formula, 10 Pound Bag discomfort, which is gone. Natural Balance Green Pea and Duck dry cat food has been a bit of magic for my cats and for me! This food would be a blessing to any cat. It's healthy! And for a cat experiencing allergies of any kind, it's a must! I wrote Natural Balance and thanked the company for restoring my cats. I thank Amazon for offering it at a reasonable price and getting it here promptly! Winners, all!

I bought this looking for a deal. I have 5 cats and they're not cheap to feed, but this food is reasonably priced. My cats have been on it for a month, now, and I've noticed some pretty impressive changes. My 8 year old boy's coat is smoother and shinier. My 1 year old twins have so much more energy and are constantly playing (to the point that they're almost annoying 😅). Neither of these things were true when I had them on the store brand version of this food. I will update if anything changes, but for now I'm extremely happy with this food.

Since we adopted Buddy last February we have been trying to find foods that he will and can eat. We wanted him to be on canned food, but he just will not cooperate with that at all. He will go into a starvation mode that I can not allow myself to cause. Anyway, the only canned food he would eat was fish so that's what we gave him. He scratched frequently, but didn't do any harm to himself so we figured that was the best we could do. We tried some dry foods of duck and fish as well because he loves dry food. They either caused him to throw up or scratch like crazy or get yeast in his ears. We tried all the limited ingredient turkey foods we could find both canned and dry and he either wouldn't eat them or they would also cause scratching. The Instinct actually caused him to scratch his face to bleed. What to do?! We saw this one, but I was turned off by the low protein and high carbs. We continued on with the fish but then he started to throw that up. Desperately we tried this one. Within a few days the scratching stopped completely. Within 2 weeks the yeast was gone from his ears as well. I had thought that the yeast was from the carbs from the dry, but it appears it was an allergic reaction from the proteins we were giving him. He has been on this for about 3 weeks now and he loves it! He gets 1/4 cup two times a day and that seems to satisfy him because he leaves even a few morsels in his dish. His coat is incredible and he sheds so little it's amazing. When he was on the canned fish, he shed way more than this! Anyway, he doesn't throw up anymore and he uses his litter box without issues and digests this food the best of any we have tried. This has taught me how individual cats are. It wouldn't have been my first choice, but now it is the only choice for Buddy. Never has he done so well and that makes us all happy.

My cats liked it, but sadly it didn't help one of their allergy conditions. Good product though and all 3 loved it. I never did have a problem with my cats being finicky eaters.

My cat loves this food. It is a little bit greasy, and sometimes the grease soaks through the bag, so I recommend if you're storing the bag to keep it on newspaper or in a plastic bag to protect your surfaces. Also very fishy smelling, of course, but my cat loves this.

This food is definitely not the cheapest but it helped get my cats’ questionable gastrointestinal issues on track. I’ll spare you the details as a kindness but the high point overview is that the food stays down and their litter box is as tolerable as a litter box can be. I’d go on about how the cats love it but realistically my two don’t exactly have the high class palates that some cats seem to. If it’s in the bowl, they will eat it. So they’re not exactly the best gauge of flavor.

This is the best food for my cats! Their coats became so gorgeous silky and so soft. Plus they don’t eat as much because it’s not full of fillers.

My cats like it. After trying different brands with no success- they will eat this one. And it is helping to clear up my cat’s skin rash.

一歳の猫が食物アレルギーでこちらのキャットフードに変えたところ、１ヶ月程で口の周りの赤みが治りました。それまでアレルギー用のフードを与えていたのですが全然治らずステロイドも併用していました。このフードに変えてからステロイドを飲ませなくても皮膚の赤みがでないので良かったです。ずっとこのフードを与えようと思います。

This food is great for our cat who was having issues with throwing up after eating dry food. We think he is sensitive to some ingredients and we haven't had trouble since starting him on NB pea and duck!

My cat has a sensitive stomach. When I adopted him he was on Royal Canin for cats that were recently neutered. His stool was very runny and he suffered from diarrhea a lot. At first I thought this could have been a residual effect from being dewormed at the shelter. However, after a month I decided it must be the ingredients in the food. I decided switch to him to a grain free food. I chose to order Natural Balance because I live in a rural community that does not have access to pet stores, and so I rely on pet foods available online. This food took about two weeks to arrive to Northern Quebec from BC. I gradually switched my cat over to this new food during the course of two weeks. He did not get sick from the switch, and is thriving on the new food. His coat is shiny and soft, he doesn't shed as much as before, and best of all his stool is solid, has a good shape and doesn't smell as bad (he used to clear out half the house after a bowel movement, now I don't notice until I hear him burying it in the litter box). His tummy probably feels so much better! I will continue to buy this food.
