The boots is attached, I thought they came off to me that's a good thing.
I was so excited to receive my son's costume just in time for Halloween. He loves his costume when he tried it on he didn't want to take it off!! It's very good quality true to size every thing was inside the package. The mask is a nice plastic but not cheap material. We love it!

Too big for my son. But the quality is good. My some is 6 year old and we bought a medium size

Great costume, mask is disappointing
Costume as a whole is great, bought for 5 year old Halloween costume. He gets plenty of play in it on the weekends too. He doesn’t like the mask because it’s a bit small for his head. Doesn’t really fit any of his friends heads either. Not sure if he was sent the wrong size or is a design flaw.

Exactly what my son wanted
My son picked out this costume and I couldn't get his sister's costume from the same place so I ordered elsewhere and ended up getting the wrong one without 3D boots and spikes. When we received the other he was disappointed and thankfully this one came back into stock in enough time for him to wear for Halloween! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the other onewe had, had a "raised" Batman symbol and this one did not. It wasn't a big deal but it would have been nice to have it on this nicer version.
