Bought this for tutoring a child in 8th grade and it's been working out well. I like the variety of reading materials provided and the worksheets. It introduces informational text, drama scripts, poems, essays, autobiography, etc and tests for retention as well as essay writing skills.

This book is a great reading resource to suppliment the classroom and homeschool curriculum. It can be used to introduce or review 8th grade essential reading skills and practice for state assessments.

No issue

I ordered a new book and it arrived in a timely manner packaged in a plastic cover. However, when I removed the plastic cover I realized it was a used book. All the answers were bubbled in and the answers were written down. Unacceptable and disappointed!
