I was skeptical about these lights especially for the price and that you get two of them. What a surprise. The lights are well made, bright and perfect for attic and crawls spaces. You can't go wrong with these lights.

When comparing to other similar Hydroponic growing systems ( size, price and options) the Amorning unit was by far for me the best value. Right out of the box the unit was very easy to assemble with straight forward instructions. My first system will primarily be used for growing seedlings then transplanting but I will be purchasing at least one more for salad greens. I highly recommend this product. Thanks

These are very easy to install if you have ceramic light sockets, and are quite bright compared to single bulbs and the diffuser means you don't feel you are "looking onto the sun" like other bright lights. I have 3 of these in my 20'x20' (~10' ceiling) garage and they are definitely bright enough for most tasks. The color temperature is somewhat blue. I have another linear light at the workbench as the lights would otherwise be behind me.I am a little nervous that these do not seem to be UL listed, and they are all plastic on the outside. I wonder where the heat goes? I took some thermal pictures of them and they do not seem to get any hotter than the CFL bulbs they replaced, but it is ~50F in my garage; we'll have to see how they do in the summer.

This is my second purchased hydroponic system. I bought it because it is supposed to work with wi-fi and had an adjustable light. Unfortunately, when I downloaded the app it would not connect to my wi-fi. The light don't all work. I can only get the red ones to turn on. The rest of it works fine, and all except two of the pods sprouted the tomato seeds I planted. Some of the tomato plants don't look as strong as I'd hoped, but I don't know if this is from the poor lighting or the seed. I have an iDeer Life system that I'm using for my 3rd year. It's still going strong, the lights are outstanding, the pump is great, but it seems to be discontinued. I think I'd recommend that someone wanting to do hydroponics invest in a better system. I don't believe you have to get the most expensive unit available, by any means, but look for great reviews compared to the number of reviews. Look for those satisfied ratings and which parts cause problems. In fairness, I have not tried to contact the company that made this product because I've been using it for over a month.

If you don’t want to use WiFi it’s very difficult to get this up and running. The lack of clear instructions for actually using it to plant anything is absent. As a consumer I had to go to other sources to understand how to place the pump, what kind of water to use, how to prepped the sponges and how to set it up to run. I live in an area where I cannot depend on consistent WiFi so don’t want to depend on that. My unit contained one pack of seeds, not several packs as the booklet describes for “what’s in the box.” The instructions on and amounts to use on the nutrients took a magnifying app to read and even after using the entire bottle of both the meter provided is still showing there isn’t enough ppm to germinate my plants.Nothing about this was stress free so far and if I hadn’t spent so much time researching how toset it up using other resources besides this product’s I would pack it up and send it back.

I received my kit and I really love it! It’s nice and large and very easy to set up. I was missing the seeds so I emailed Customer service. I’ve gotten a response the same day. Customer service told me they would send the seeds to me. 12 days later, I come home from work and I find a box on my doorstep. It was my seeds and nutrients. Fantastic Customer service! I was originally disappointed that the seeds are missing but it was worth it just to experience good customer service. That’s not something you have nowadays. The seeds come in a little packets and it’s just enough to get started. Can’t wait to see them growing. I had also gotten this for the fan to help with pollenization and the fan does work quite well it’s just a very gentle breeze. Setting up the app was also easy - I turn the fan off because it’s not needed for probably a couple months.It also connects with Alexa. I don’t know what I would need her for, because to app does everything. But I’m sure it would be handy. Maybe to remind myself to get more nutrients or seeds…
