I didn't read the full description... inside the pump is FULL of heavy grease and that grease comes out in what you pump. It seems to work well, pumps a lot of water and fast.

Other reviews knock the "quality" of this pump. But really, what can you expect at this price. I don't imagine I'll still be using it a year from now, but it just pumped 40 gallons of diesel from a storage drum into my truck in very little time. Unfortunetly I didn't think I'd be writing a review so I did not time it. It moves a lot of fluid at a good pace and if I were worried about keeping it working it's be sure to clean it after each use. This is NOT the type of pump (quality/material) you want to leave sitting in anything caustic.
