Use more clips than you think.
The clips and straps were very easy to install. I did have to cut the cover a bit in order to snap the clips on, but the instructions alerted me to the fact that this might happen. Lining everything up was easy. The instructions (especially the illustrations) were simple and clear. Very happy with the product. I spaced things out exactly as instructed, but I think using more (placing them closer together) would make rolling up the solar cover even easier. I used 4, but it came with 8. I should have used 5. But everything still works.

Worked much better than the previous ones I purchased. The plastic clips are much sturdier.When my current pool cover needs to be replaced I will purchase this again.

Straps don't stay on the reel for long
Two of the straps have come off the reel. It appears the stickiness is not strong enough.

Easy to install
Easy to install. I'm skeptical about how well the velcro pad will stay stuck to the bar in the heat/sun, but we shall see. It's like a 3M tape - one side velcro, the other side sticky, and the strap has the other side of the velcro pad sewn onto it. The previous straps we had, came with a slider thing that fit into the grooves of the bar.
