Wine Gums Juicies Sweets, Bursting With Fruity Flavours, 130 g Bag (Pack of 1)

First tried these when I was pregnant and the only thing that helped with nausea was sweet/fizzy/sour sweets. These sweets are just a bit too moreish. Each colour tastes very different and there are a nice variety of different flavours in a bag. Whenever i brought these to work, my colleagues would steal them and said the texture is more like what you'd expect from non-vegan sweets (I have been vegan for over 14 years so I can't really comment) but I assume that is high praise. They are a little firmer than most vegan sweets, not too chewy and just the right amount of sweet and fizzy to be satisfying. The bag is actually generously sized for the price, although they won't last long. I'm always scared to buy them because I know how good they are.

A good make so hopefully they will taste the same as ordinary wine gums. Reasonable price and quick delivery.

I got these on a whim to pack out a birthday gift selection. No idea why, just a random silliness. They turned out to be surprisingly good. Now I should say both me and the housemate are men in our later stages of life, so this is a whimsical silliness. Fizzy fish yay! He loved them, he likes anything sour or fizzy. I'm more cautious. I did eat a couple though and found them - while not delightful, certainly less than awful. The jelly is a bit claggy and nothing like we used to get as kids. (oh god, he's started on the nostalgia kick) Bassetts used to be far better. But then, we also had mad food additives back then that probably stunted our growth, so who am I to talk. My housemate says these are suitably fizzy. A respectable fizziness. And they taste okay. Not sure what flavour it was supposed to be, but it tasted 'sugary' to me. Which is possibly unwise if you give them to hyperactive kids, but maybe it's what will shut them up for a bit and let you get on that online bingo thing for a cheeky minute. They're not horrible is what I'm saying. Your child may become mildly addicted. Or you, I won't be judgemental about this.

These aren't what I expected. I thought that would be more gummy but they are quite hard and not pleasant to chew .

I mean these taste nice, they're the same as normal wine gums but I was expecting them to be super juicy and full of liquid but they're basically just the same as normal wine gums. No different, so they're good but they're not as good the OG ones.
