VOORAY 15L Avani Yoga Bag – Yoga Mat Storage for Yoga Retreats & Studio Commutes

I ordered and returned three yoga mat bags before getting this one. It’s on the pricier side, but it’s worth it. Good quality, sturdy, and roomy. I initially ordered Manduka bag since my mat is the same brand, but that was a joke. Vooray is a premium bag.

Love this brand for their travel bags, so I was excited to receive this for one of my many yoga mats. It's got a nice sized pocket on the front for keys, phone, etc. Fits different size mats well and the adjustable strap is pretty comfortable, as well. Definitely recommend!

For a bag in and of itself this one is actually pretty good. It has a durable feeling canvas shell and has a soft sateen liner with a bit of padding in-between. The handles make it easy to grab and the strap is convenient. The zipper seems a bit overkill with the plastic covering usually reserved for watertight seals— I don’t think it’s necessary for a yoga bag, and in fact you really want the bag to breathe so that your mat can air out. For an otherwise nice bag I’m disappointed on the size— it runs a bit small. If you have a cheap yoga mat or one of the super thin, travel variety then you won’t have any problems. But if you use a nice thicker mat like I do then things get tight. I have a Manduka Pro mat and this bag just *barely* fits. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to zip it completely but I was thankfully. But if I rolled the mat any looser it would NOT have fit in the bag. See my pics for reference. I can barely fit a towel in with the mat. I definitely cannot fit a full coverage mat towel in there along with the mat though.Overall it does the job but be sure to measure the dimensions of your rolled yoga mat first to be sure it fits.

I recently started doing Pilates with my girlfriend and got myself a mat and those buggers can be pretty heavy. I love the functionality of this bag - straps are smart and work well, pockets for phone, small devices, keys, small water bottle for workout or class. And sizing has been fine, I’ve had no issues with fitting my mat, items. Canvas material is a really nice aesthetic - I have the white so I could see it maybe getting dirty or absorbing sweat over time but easy enough to throw in the delicate wash and air dry!

Looks fashionable and holds everything I need for yoga. The tote bag holds my rolled yoga mat (with room to spare if I used a heavier thicker mat). And has a zipper compartment for my phone and a pocket for my water bottle. Strap is padded and sits comfortably on my shoulder. Well made-- the exterior made with a soft cotton canvas material and the inside is lined with water resistant nylon.My favorite part is the bag lets me easily store my mat at home and transport it to the gym-- at home I can hook it in the closet or on a coat rack -- vs having to tie up the rolled mat and leave it leaning against the wall somewhere. When I'm headed to the gym-- I grab the bag, stuff my phone and bottle in the bag-- and I'm out the door.

This is really nice and roomy, longer than my yoga mat, and that is nice. The photo shows my mat in my old strap with my towels as well. It all fits. The handles and zippers are well made and hold well. pocket on outside holds sprays or other items. inner lining is smooth and the liner is thicker than you'd thing. this is really nice! I've waited to find a good bag and this checks all the boxes.
