Craig Frames 20x27 Black Wooden Picture Frame with Clear Plexiglass for Wall Display, Puzzles, or Posters

This frame was for a 1,000 piece puzzle and it fits beautifully. Theres a small area top and bottom that the puzzle didnt fill but it looks like purposeful contrast if you can actually see it. We also didnt have issues with attaching the hardware or hanging it up. Highly recommend and would definitely buy again!

It looks very nice, however, when screwing in the screws and hangers that were PROVIDED, it cracked the wood frame in half.

For the money, this frame is just fine. We use it for a puzzle. It came with all the hanging hardware and the packaging it came in was impressive!My only gripe is that this composite wood or whatever material this is made from, is very difficult to get a screw into. And if you mess up, there’s no backing out the screw. It’s not wood, so you’ll need to start a new hole.It requires a LOT of strength to push down and get a screw into the frame. A LOT. I would recommend a power drill actually. Crank up the torque and go very slow.

This frame was amazing, both side of glass/plastic were covered. It was so easy to frame and hang, and looks fantastic!

This frame was so much sturdier than I expected. I bought it for my Christmas puzzle, and it was exactly as advertised. I will need a mat for the puzzle edges which I have not gotten yet, but as you can see, the frame fits well. I have not added the mounting wire yet, but it also looks substantial. I would definitely buy again.

My girlfriend ans I had been searching for two 18'' x 26'' black frames for years. We had finished and glued two Lord of the Rings puzzles together and needed matching frames for them. We ordered two of the 20''x27'' black Craig frames. They measure19 1/2'' X 26 1/2'' not counting the frame molding. The frame molding is .75 of an inch thick. So counting the molding the total measurement from outside frame to outside frame is 21'' X 28''. I guess the 20 x 27 indicates the size of poster these frames fit but that's just confusing to me. The front covering is a clear plexiglass. The frames fit the puzzles fairly well with only a small gap on the left and right sides. We put a piece of black poster board down behind the puzzles to hide the gaps. The frames are sturdy and look nice. However, they do come with some assembly required as you have to use the screws to attach the metal hook on to the back. They do this so you can hang the picture portrait or landscape. It's a bit of a chore to hand drive them as the wood is very hard. A hand drill may work but also might split the wood frame. My Dad taught us an old carpenter trick to help get the screws into the hard wood. Use a hammer and nail to start a small hole. Then use a bar of soap to coat the screw threads. The soap on the threads will help the screw go into the wood. Overall, I am happy with these frames. I hope this review helps someone else.

It was exactly the size advertized, and it looks pretty nice for a plain frame. I wish the clips that hold the picture down did a slightly better job, but that's easily fixed with a bit of clear tape
