HPS Performance #16 Stainless Steel 3/8" Fuel Injection Hose Clamps 10pc Pack (14mm - 16mm) (FIC-14x10)

Just added a transmission cooler and power steering cooler to my Jeep. I've done this particular upgrade on three Jeeps now. I used Gates 3/8" transmission hose rated at 400 psi. These 3/8" stainless clamps are a nice fit although tight. So they definitely won't fit bigger hose, but perfect for 11/32" or 3/8". The clamps look tidy and clean and make a great uniform seal. Unlike cheap worm drive hose clamps, there is no extra clamp protruding to look crappy or skin your knuckles on. I'm an idiot for ever using worm drive hose clamps, as these beauties are worth every penny. No I don't work for the company, but I am very happy with this solid gear.

I do a lot of mechanic work on all my vehicles. Whenever I replace a fuel hose I Make sure and use these clamps. They won’t strip out or cut into the fuel hose like traditional clamps, and are a must on older vehicles with throttle body fuel injection that operate at higher pressure than carburetor vehicles. You get a secure even clamp on the entire hose, plus it makes your work look professional

Use these for your fuel lines, not the old worm drive style hose clamps. Much better clamping, no leaks, and don't cut into the line.

They do fit a Gates 3/8" transmission cooler hose when fully open. No issues. Uh, edited. They fit the hose but if you have the hose on any steel tube (like my power steering pump I tried today) it is a bear to close. You can't get the screw started if you let it come out of the threads. 1/2 hour or more wrestling with it, finally started screw with edge of clamp on edge of hose.

Bought these clamps after I bought another pkg of 10 clamps stating that they were "stainless steel" and the fact was, that they were not. Since then Amazon has made corrections to the then falsely advertised clamps sold by Autokay. Having said all that, these clamps worked perfectly for installing an auxiliary transmission cooler on a Jeep Wrangler TJ. These are indeed stainless steel clamps and fit 3/8 inside diameter transmission line or fuel line hose. I did read some reviews stating that these are very difficult to stall, or barely fit 3/8 hose. But I didn't have a problem at all. Open clamp all the way while leaving 2 turns remaining on the clamp bolt, put on hose, and slide hose over barb, tighten clamp. Easy install. These are the ones you want. Stay away from the cheap zinc plated clamps often sold as stainless steel. Try a magnet on anything sold as stainless. If the material sticks to the magnet...........it's not stainless steel I must thank Amazon for ALWAYS correcting the problem. It's always easy with Amazon
