My crabs won't eat this
I hate to leave a bad review, because it looks like a quality product. It smells like fish food. There are brown pellets like fish food, a long with some dried worms and prawns. It looks wholesome. Pellets are small enough that the crabs should be able to eat that. I think it would last a long time in it's bottle which was also wrapped in a ziplock bag. The food doesn't degrade or anything after it sits overnight, so it performs as it should in that regard. But its performance as food is unknown since they won't eat it.It's just that my crabs won't eat this. I purchased 4 purple pincher hermit crabs in the spring. They only had this food over the summer and two of them died. I am a very experienced crab owner and after the 2nd fatality I sought out a hermit crab treat in hope that they would eat it as I don't remember the specific brand my past crabs have had. Usually, I am able to keep hermit crabs alive for several years. Now they like to eat the treat and leave this stuff behind. I wish I knew what brand of nutritional food they would take.
