Drink wine before you begin....
Ok so overall this is a great cage. But before you start to put it together you’re gonna need to drink a few glasses of wine, or pray or meditate... Whatever floats your boat. Mentally prepare yourself for the war that is fixing to take place. You literally need like 8 hands to be able to put this together. I had tons of trouble with holes lining up, the little small rods that have to go in the small holes all but flipped me off and told me to F off. They were not cooperating and staying in said small holes. I’m very pleased with the outcome and my birds love the cage but if I had to do it over again... well I wouldn’t.

A little bent upon arrival, but seems to be a great cage!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The size is perfect. Most similar cages are far too narrow. I am very pleased with the cage overall, but there were a few hiccups. The top panel was very twisted and wobbly when it arrived. I couldn't really do anything to remedy this, but when it was put in place it ended up being okay. I wouldn't put anything heavy on top like a Java tree just in case. There were a few places where the weld (? maybe it's just held with paint?) came undone and because it's a bird cage, I couldn't use glue to fix it. One place was on the side panel near the top, on the long piece that inserts into the top side panel, and the other was on the spring arm of the side door. Instead of glue, I used zip ties on the side panels and plastic clips to keep the spring door shut. I have pictures of this! There are some gaps that seem concerning, like at the bottom between the cage and tray, and I will monitor very closely when our bird first enters the cage to see if the gaps are too wide for his safety. If so, I will figure something out to fix the problem, likely chicken wire or other mesh.Assembly? NOT the easiest. Try to get a second person to help. My biggest problem was getting the front panel on because everything has to line up properly, and once you attach the front, it's kinda over. The angle of installation was hard for me, so I had to lay the cage down on the floor and put in the final piece hole by hole, slowly. A second person would have helped, but I did manage to get it in place fine with some patience. There was only one hole that didn't line up perfectly when attaching to the base, but I was able to finagle it to go through and secure the nut on the other side. Phew!Overall, the cage seems great. It wheels fine on thick pile carpet, the size again is great, the white is a true white, and it seems sturdy and nice for my green cheek coming home soon. I wouldn't put anything bigger than a cockatiel in here personally, and maybe up to 3 budgies. I trust Prevue, so I'm glad I got this cage. Still arranging while awaiting our baby's arrival! I will update if anything changes!

A very expensive mistake
As some others have said the assembly is difficult. I'm not very handy so based on other reviews I hired a handyman service to put it together. It took 2 men about 45 minutes (and $100) and yes, some of it was bent. Unless you're really good at assembling things you may want to buy something else.On to the cage itself. I had bought this to move from room to room since my bird is very skittish and doesn't like vacuums, etc. Unless you're moving it on carpet it's the noisiest thing you can imagine. The wheels are small and very hard so every bump is jarring and the whole cage rattles and makes more racket than the vacuum. I have tile and rolling it over the grout lines shakes the cage, the water flies out and the bird is terrified. I only did this once.In my opinion it defeats the whole point of a cage on wheels if you can only move it while empty. So now I'm using it as a stationary cage while I clean his other one. It's impossible to clean it with him in it because the swing door means he simply flies out when I open it and the small doors are too little to reach all the way in and reach the bottom of the cage.I realize my situation may be uncommon so if you have very docile birds who don't mind noise and being jostled around and they don't try to fly out when you open the door it's a very nice looking cage. I just think it's very rickety and not designed very well- at least for my purposes.

Disappointing Quality
I have owned several Prevue Hendrix cages and loved them. I also have owned the HQ & A&E versions of this flight cage and they were fabulous. I recommend them over this cage. The bars on this cage are so thin and flimsy. The entire top of my cage is crooked and bent. I’m going to request that Prevue Hendrix send me a new top. The bars on the tops and sides are so thin and fragile that you will have a difficult time hanging toys and Quick Lock Bowls. I bought this for my Sun Conure and wish I could return it but it’s akready put together.

Satisfied customer!
I bought this cage to replace a black cage with the tray near the floor. It had become too difficult for me to clean. With its tray a little below waist height, this cage makes for easy cleaning. My Lady Gouldian finches have adapted to their new surroundings and seem content. The cage was a bear for one person (an older woman) to put together - though with determination, I did manage to do it on my own.The tray arrived cracked. I called PreVue and they quickly replaced it at no charge!

Decent cage for a Cockatiel
I bought this cage for my Cockatiel. Its the perfect size, large enough for him to flap his wings and get exercise. However when the box arrived and I opened it up, alot of the bars were bent and assembly was a joke. There are a few areas where the powder coating got scratched off too. I had already gotten rid of my other cage so for now I'll have to deal with it. I never had this problem with an A&E cages in the past but I liked the size of this cage.

Great for my cockatiels
Love this cage. It houses my 3 cockatiels with more than enough room. I did replace the plastic feeders with metal ones which I prefer. It took about 45 min to assemble by myself. I wish it had a solid top, but i cut out out some wood to place on top for when they are out during the day. They love to eat up there.

Bright and Roomy but NOT well made.
Update: out of three cages ordered, all 3 have structural / fabrication issues. Broken dishes, terrible welds and awful warps :(This cage is not easy to put together unless you have 6 hands maybe. It's not the quality I have seen in other PH products. There are funky welds, crooked supports and even an already stripped bolt hole ?! The food dishes are awful and will be full of food and seed within an hour. The grate is also cockeyed :(However, it is bright and roomy and the bar spacing is great for your little birbs! I have purchased one for my parrotlet and one for my lovebird. Lots of space for busy little bodies. I would not put a conure, Quaker or anything larger in this cage simply because it is not the best quality and I don't think it would stand up to their beaks.I think the price point is a bit high mainly because of the shoddy workmanship.

CONSISTENT QUALITY ACROSS ALL PREVUE BRANDS WOULD BE NICE!
I assembled this by myself with relative ease in about 30 minutes or so. The construction is sturdy enough, I wouldn't put anything larger than a conure or two in it. Bigger birds with stronger beaks could tear it to pieces. The door latch is flimsy and easy enough for even a seagull that hit a window and suffered brain permanent damage could figure out in no time, so I have had to fortify it. It is roomy enough and is suitable for my birds needs. Again I have issues with the spring loaded side doors, could easily catch a birds head or body part if they were to try to escape. Fortified those as well with binder clips. I returned a previous model that was similar but cheaper and the quality sucked! Why no consistent quality control on PreVue's side? For basically fifty bucks more, I get something that actually fits together? I have purchased other products from PreVue and have been happy with the quality. So if you are paying attention Mr. or Mrs. C.E.O. of quality control, get it together! Overall rating from me is a 3.5 out of five, most of it to go to its ease of assembly. Value-wise, not so much. Take your chances is my recommendation.

Don't buy!!
Such a cheaply made cage!!!! Came bent in multiple spots, stripped screw holes, missing paint in spots, and very flimsy bar wire. And the cage would not have come off the stand either, which is a nice feature.Put in for the return the same day it arrived. Ordering another brand and will gladly pay the extra!!

Quality below expectations.
This cage is manageable and quite easy for one person to assemble. However, the quality is bad.1) The grilles are thin and start to detach from the frame after a day. My lovebirds can easily squeeze their way out from the gaps caused by the detached grilles!2) white coating comes off easily.3) a few grilles are bentThe size is great. Plenty of room for my birds to move around and I like the rack below. However, I wouldn’t recommend this cage due to the quality. Now I’m worried about my birds escaping from the cage through the broken grilles when I’m not at home.
