My LCD 3 isnt the easiest to drive well , but this L30ii does it with ease on high gain .. good control in the Bass and Sub Bass , Mids are clean , highs are crisp ... pretty much ideal really ... it won't hide issues with some headphones , its too neutral for that .. comparing it with my Deckard it is really much the same and that amp did cost considerably more , granted its got a DAC inbuilt but sound wise , little difference ... fed the little thing with 5 different DAC's I have ... its good with all of them .. no hiss , gets to loud to use them before any distortion can creep in .. Baby A90D I am guessing ... pretty much as good as anyone would probably need to be honest and very cheap ! build is good , if you want a good sounding amp and do not want remote control and have a good DAC already ... give it a go ... it sounds better than my Beyer A1 from many years ago ( Class A ) and costs a 10th !! unsure of its lifespan only had a short while ... but hey !!! its Really good value !!
