Wanted to try it just to see. A mistake. Not a good product at all. Nothing loose freely everything is grippy, grindy and sticks. Nothing is smooth about it when you TRY to use it. It is so cheap, the metal is so thin. If you apply any type of firm pressure it bends. The bracket that attaches to the floor on the driver side and the pedal itself. Very very very deeply made. Hence, the price.

It works perfectly for my car

Took only 30 min to install on my wife's highlander - came with all tools - pedal seems to stay put ok. Based on the pedal pressure the cable should last a while.Great solution for teaching your kid to drive but not robust enough for a drivers ed teacher to use daily.For the value its a 5 but the I am sure it will not wear well over time so I can't give it a 5 - would give it a 4.5 if that was an option.

I purchased this to help my nephew learn how to drive, I bought 2 just in case something happens with the first one and thank goodness I did. They are both bad, they bend the track running underneath the foot part that guides the arm that pulls the cable and becomes unusable. The arm going from the floor to the foot pedal bends also, first one I used twice, the second one I got a whopping 5 uses out of it. Its far too late for me to get a refund or replacement since its past the 30 days but be forewarned this is not a good pedal to purchase. I am going to just build my own so I know its for sure not dangerous when one of these pedals malfunction. Also it seemed like every time I had to use it, it got harder to push, I'm not sure why that is either

Some states require duplicate brake pedal for student driver on a personal car. I didn't want to pay for 50 hours of driving school $$$, so was happy when I found this option.Unfortunately, while good idea, implementation, or to be specific, passenger side pedal was not built to proper specs. Basically bottom of the pedal is made from thin metal which bends easily. It did in my Highlander. As a result, after bent at angle, it would no longer work. Thicker metal would prevent it from bending and perhaps make it best product in its class for the price.In its current form/quality it is simply not safe enough to use.

This is somewhat difficult to fit but once fitted it is really good. It really helps teaching your teen to drive.
