The ventilation on this is really effective, even with the carbon filters. I wasn't quite sure if it would be powerful enough at first but it really surprised us! It has multiple settings for the fan which have a nice variation and isn't too loud. The slim option was true to what it said and it doesn't take up too much space and is lightweight so it can be installed easily. I liked how bright the lights were and power behind the fans. This vent hood is definitely quality and put together nicely. If ordering carbon filters be sure to buy off of the website as Amazon does not carry the right size for the slim option.

Purchased this based on all the great reviews. Replacing an OTR microwave set-up and this makes the space so much more open. Somewhat of an easy install because I like to make things harder than they should be. Looks really great and time will tell if the stainless finish holds up. It is a bit louder than I expected but no louder than previous set-ups we've had. Was just hoping for a little less noise but hey, it's a fan! Unit seems to remove smoke and odors so far. Installed as ductless and using a charcoal filter. Lighting is pretty bright and appreciate that there are multiple fan speeds available. Overall happy with our purchase, so far.

This hood is a well-built and functional product at a good proce point. Well designed, sturdy, easy to install with the clear instructions provided, and has a quiet but efficient fan. The filters are very easy to clean. I really like this hood. The one drawback is the light is not very powerful.

Just moved into an older house where they had microwave over the range vented back into the kitchen. The microwave still worked but sounded like one of the fighter jets stationed nearby. Annoyingly loud and spewing cooking smells back into the place!I jumped on Amazon looking for a range hood to solve the problem. Found this very nice brushed stainless unit by Cosmo. Pulled the trigger and it was here in a couple of days.There was already a flue vent to the roof so the install was pretty simple. Included was a template for either mounting under cabinet or wall mount!Just tested and finished install today and will give it a go tonight for the first time.This unit has full surface filter coverage so I expect it to pull all the cooking vapors outside easily. It has three speeds all much quieter than the departed microwave.BTW it has LED lighting and is also convertible to send the fumes through charcoal filtration before recirculating the filtered air back into the kitchen if you don't have a vent to outside.Will update if there are any surprises.

Very good product, easy to install, and I love the look. It has good power and the LED is excellent. I loved the design from the moment I saw it. I will definitely recommend it. The shipping was very fast.

A decent range hood for the price. After final installation I am happy with the result. Fan works good and not too loud. I hardwired mine and the wiring was on the opposite side so I had to drill a hole on the other side so it would mount flush. I did a rear exhaust thru the wall and was disappointed that there was no rectangle adapter for the wall exhaust like the instructions tell you to install, so I had to reuse and fit the one from my old range hood. It all worked out in the end and looks good. I did have to return the first one I received though, as the Amazon driver dropped it at the end of my porch which caused one of the corners to be bent in. The replacement worked out though.

So far so good. Using the ductless option. Like the 3 fan speeds & light & looks good. The stainless probably won't be the easiest to clean but kinda expected that. Good option for us for the price we paid

When I received this, although the exterior packaging was okay the stove hood in the box was dented on the top left hand side. It was also missing the part of the vent system and didn't include all of the mounting hardware. I straightened it out as best as possible (I needed it installed to put my kitchen back together and be able to cook again), and used screws to suck it up to the wall cabinet but a bit of the damage is still visible when viewed from above. The cord that was included is so short that it is unable to reach the plug located directly beneath the hood (which is installed higher than typical for wall outlets), this required using a short extension cord to make it work.The hood itself seems to work pretty well. The fan is relatively powerful. But the light installed in it is extremely weak and only useable in dim locations. It isn't going to do much to see the food better, that is for sure.The buttons feel cheap, but the construction is solid. Internally it uses styrofoam as part of the housing, so not so robust.I guess we will have to wait and see what longevity it has. I will work on removing the rest of the dent at a later time.
