I absolutely LOVE this thing!! I have spent the past year setting up pretty large garden in my backyard, but wanted to grow food year round. I had lettuce and strawberries in pots in my kitchen, but I just could not keep them growing. I saw videos of hydroponic towers and decided to try it out. I got the 18 plant, indoor Farmstand, and it was super easy to set up. When it is watering it does sound like there is a broken water pipe somewhere, but you quickly get used to the sound. This tower is not massive, and fits perfectly in a corner in my kitchen. There were 18 seedlings included in this purchase, but it was a pre-currated mix. Turns out I was allergic to a few of the seedlings in the bundle, so I reached out to Lettuce Grow and explained this to them. They were super nice and allowed me to pick the seedlings, instead of having to get pre-currated mix. I have had the tower for a week and half now, and the growth is amazing! I can't wait to be able to start harvesting!

This is a great hydroponic setup. Easy to set up, about 15 minutes a week to maintain and good for beginners to more experienced gardeners. If growing inside, plan on purchasing supplemental lighting. Lettuce Grow offers a set of "glow rings" or you can use a couple of LED grow lights like a Mars HYDRO TS 1000W. I purchased two of these lights and mounted them on DIY PVC frames. Unlike the glow rings from LG, creating a setup wherein you can move the lights closer or further away, depending on your plants growth rate, will work better, imo.You can either order seedlings from Lettuce Grow, or you can purchase your own seeds and plant them in Root Riot or Rapid Rooter plugs. (Never use soil in this unit!) The latter may be preferred since seedlings sometimes come along with pests. You can use this unit outdoors as well but be sure to have it protected from wind and weather as much as possible.You just can't beat picking fresh greens -- they're delicious and nutritious, and it doesn't get fresher than this!

We love this we planted bare root strawberries and they are all growing great and some lettuces and they sprouted within days. All plants and seeds we put in are doing well. Assembly was fairly straightforward though I would have liked paper instructions in the box. Overall we love it and cannot wait to harvest some food of our own food.

Update: lettuce grow can and did add this to my account so I get reminders and help. It was just a little harder than I expected. Moving my rating back to 4 and removing the advice not to by hereLettucegrow apps/account recording have a problem if you purchase through Amazon. If you do you will not have this farmstand added to your lettucegrow account and the mobile app will be useless. You will not get reminders, tips or hints. If you purchase directly you will be able to do that. And I just heard from lettucegrow customer service that there is no other way to have it added. You basically are out of luck. Unfortunate, as I think the product itself is pretty good but going this route gets you a substandard version of it.

The media could not be loaded. Just got my lettuce grow stand from Amazon because I wanted to use payment plans using Klarna. Then got my ring directly from lettuce grow and the seedlings. So far it's been very smooth experience. Seeing up was easy. I had questions so I called, and she was so friendly to answer all my questions :)I'm loving the experience. I mixed nurtients in the water and put seedlings on. Set up the timers for both ring light and the pump. Got the dolly from Amazon. Then I bought the hose connector from Amazon also. That way I could pour water from my kitchen sink to the balcony. Thank you Lettuce Grow and Amazon <3

The Lettuce Grow Farmstand overpromises and underdelivers. I also fell for the slick marketing and the dream of being able to grow fresh vegetables in my own house. That’s the problem, it’s merely a dream. The reality is that nothing will actually grow. Leaving you with some very expensive dead Lettuce. I told the company about how hundreds of dollars of plants would die within 24 hours and they blew me off. Returned at my expense and they refuse to issue a refund. Buyer beware. Lettuce don’t grow would be a more accurate company name.

This is one of the best investments that I’ve ever made for me and my family. It is easy to assemble easy to take care of. The fruits and veggies are sweet and delicious and my children love it and they’re eating more veggies and fruits. I had called a six count because I have a family of 10 and when I say it is worth it it is worth it. I have saved so much money on produce because of this machine. I love it! I am going to purchase more in the future.

The media could not be loaded. We have been researching the Lettuce Grow Farmstand for a while and finally decided to give it a try. I am here to report it has been a dream. The Farmstand was super easy to assemble. Once assembled the next step was to fill it up with water, nutrients, and get the PH level in order. Again, super well explained in the instructions manual and easy to execute. Now our seedlings have arrived and we are growing! The growth rate is super impressive. We should have our first harvest in less than a week! I'm now recommending a Lettuce Grow Farmstand to everyone I meet.
