Caddis Northern Guide Wading Shoe

Light and comfortable. I went straight into 2 days of hard hiking and fishing and these boots were superb. Good grip for rubber bottoms without spikes. Just as good as the big name brands costing 2-3 times as much. Sizing right on order what you wear for an athletic shoe.

I've used these twice and so far so good! I got hesitant because someone left a review to get felt bottoms. The river my husband and I fish in has a super slick rock bottom. I took my chances and I absolutely LOVE these. The shoes make you stable and easy to shuffle your way to your desired spot. They do slip slightly on the big slimy rocks but definitely not enough to make me nosedive into the water. They grip very well once you're planted into a good spot. My favorite thing is how they help you move when you're walking in the water. The boots are so light, so each step you take in the water, they rise to the top like balloons and it makes it so much easier to guide myself in the rapid streams. I am a size 9 and they are made to fit big. My husband got me the matching waders and they fit into these shoes perfectly. My feet have plenty of room and still snug. Highly recommended!

First off these are great budget wading boots. The fit is roughly 1/2 size to large which isn’t bad but, they are big to use for wet wading in the summer months.

These boots were bought by 4 of our Alaska vacation fishing crew, bought first by me and recommended by me even though I hadn't done anything but tried them on with my waders . All 4 of us loved these boots and were comfortable all day in them fishing in the Kenai River for 8 days! I wear a size 7 regular shoe and bought a size 7. Perfect fit! I even walked 1.5 miles in them to the river ~ comfortable for walking too! Can't go wrong with the price, fit and comfort!

Good boots at a decent price

So far have only used them once, but they were comfortable, seem well made, laced easily, and readily opened up to come off at the end of the day. Wading on muddy bottoms on the Texas coast, I noted that the relatively shallow tread of the soles did not hold a lot of mud to be tracked onto your boat, but seemed to give reasonable traction.

A good boot for two season, but one of the soles starting to peel away from the boot. After maybe 60 hours of use.

My last pair just fell apart after 2 years of heavy use wading rivers all year long for work. These were comfortable and felt great up until the sole started to separate and rocks were betting between the sole and liner. I think 2 years is pretty good for heavy use wading boots. Definitly thinking about getting another pair. Also Sizing was about right I wear a normal shoe size 12 and the 12 wading shoe fit my neoprene wader bootie fine.
