Mini Tripod Table Stand with Pads and Soft Pistol Grip for DSLR 1/4" Cameras Weighing up to 2.5lbs

I hike a lot and take footage using a Canon T5i, an Olympus TG-something toughcam and a GoPro knock-off (SJ6000 or something like that). With all the cameras, holding them, setting them up for a still shot, etc took time and the walking footage was very shaky. This mount connects to the camera easily...it has a knob for turning the 1/4"/20 thread that goes through the mount so you don't have to spin your camera around and around to attach it to the mount. The tripod legs are awesome for easy still shots and once you get the hang of adjusting the 'tilt' of the camera (which is easy too), this stand/handle works great.

This is the best mini tripod ever! I use it for my phone and also for my dslr camera and it holds its position without any unsteadiness what so ever! It is also good to use as a small hand held selfie stick when folded. I also love that I can position it to get different camera angles! I really feel that I've made a good investment with this purchase!

I own several tripods of various sizes. I bought this one to try with a small handheld recorder. The issues I have with it are that the legs are a little weird to fold out, especially when in a hurry. Also the plastic legs seem a little flimsy when unfolding. When unfolded it is a little shorter than the ball head tripod. But other than that I am not really sure there is any advantage, at least for my application of attaching a handheld recorder.

It works fine. Very lightweight, it will get pulled around if you use it hardwired. But, I like it. Use it several times a week for a year now.

This product is made from cheap, lightweight plastic and is not very strong or sturdy. It worked okay for a GoPro, but I would not recommend putting anything bigger or heavier than a GoPro style camera on it. There are certainly higher quality tripods made of metal out there. I would not recommend this tripod unless you are looking for a cheap and disposable one. If I accidently left it behind somewhere or in my hotel room, etc, I would not cry over it, that is for sure.

These things are really cool. They seem sturdy, and I love the button mechanism to adjust the mounting plate. I bought a pair of these to hold Godox AD200 flashes when I need a low angle, and they hold the flashes pretty securely with no sign of drooping. Took me a second to figure out how to open the legs, but they just rotate out sideways. (It's actually pretty clever!) There's even a set of female threads on the underside of the screw plate for mounting something I haven't quite figured out yet. I'd buy these again if I lost them.

Item is completely worthless. One of the few things they had to get right on such a simple item is the mounting screw; As seen in the image I took, it's threads were stripped. Big disappointment. Aside from that, I don't know who in their right mind would attach anything of value to this lightweight piece of cheap plastic

I previously purchased a slightly different version of this mini tripod. At the time it was the only one of this design I found available. I was intending to buy another, however it was listed out of stock. I saw this one offered and it was less expensive and looked like the same design in concept. I decided for the money (about half the price) to give it a try. WOW... This one is more ridged, has less play (wobble) when used as a grip and more sturdy when used as a tripod. Also, the other one (when used as a tripod did not maintain level (slightly tilted the camera) so I needed to shim the right side back leg to get the camera level. I will tell you I bought 3 of those and they were all the same, so it's not that I just got a bad one. I bought two of these (they are also the same) camera stays level. I also, mounted a camera and lens that was far heavier than the spec said was max weight and It held the camera level and still and no wobble in the grip. I am going to buy a couple more before everyone finds out and the price goes up... hmmm.. the truth if the price went up I would still buy this one.
