Michael Malul Ocean Noir Eau de Parfum for Men - 10ml Travel Size

I bought Ocean Noir after being a little disappointed with Bleu De Chanel Exclusif. Bleu had an odd mustiness that I did not enjoy. This smell is a standard blue fragrance slightly marine in nature that has been done to perfection. I am a woman, but I wear this and know I smell clean and that I do not in any way smell cheap, or musty, or synthetic. It is not abrasive and fades down nicely. Completely inoffensive this is an ideal office scent. While this scent profile does or reinvent the wheel as far as what odor you will detect, it certain does perfect an existent olfactory engine. All the components work beautifully and nothing is overpowering. Smooth, lovely, and office and workplace friendly. I have purchased fragrances for much more money that were not nearly as well done. The price is not cheap for Ocean Noir, but it is reasonable, and the smell is quite good. It lasts on clothing. I primarily wear this for additional cleanliness. And in that task it is a superb staple. If you buy this you really don’t need another blue/marine fragrance in your wardrobe. It truly cannot be beat. It understood the assignment and delivered.

All the 5 star reviews I read and the positive comments that people expressed were right on with my own impressions after receiving my order of Michael Malul's Ocean Noir for men and applied two short sprays around my neck after a shower. I'll have to say it had a fragrance unlike any cologne I've ever used. It was like one of those Wow' moments you get sometimes when you find something you really like. Now I'll have to give you a bit of info here. I'm 75 yrs old, married with children & grandchildren. I've bought all kinds of mens cologne and after shave products over my adult lifetime, and I rate this Ocean Noir Eau de Parfum at a #12 on a scale of 10. In other words "ME LIKE". Definitely passed the smell test. One note of advice. Don't over do it when applied to your neck, face, or wherever. It stays with you many hours, as other reviews have stated, so a few short spays from the bottle is about all you need. I purchased the 3.4oz bottle and glad I did. And yes, it is a bit pricey I'll admit at a little over $100, but it will last me a long time. It's worth it.

Clean, fresh scent

Smells great if you are into the aquatic fresh scents with a hint of sweet. I purchased for my son and in the midst of trying on to see what it smelled like I got the idea that this could be a scent for men & women. However, for a woman it may be more suitable for those into a more edgy, possibly androgenous scent. I'd 100% recommend if the notes are those you tend to enjoy, glad I made this blind purchase!

This cologne smells like a slightly cold breeze mixed with a little athleticism. I use it as my nicer cologne along with my Dior savage elixir interchangeably. I would say I like the scent of this one better and one spray buts in a lot of work but the effectiveness is around 3 hours then it starts to fade. I do move around a lot so it may vary from person to person but I would be wary if you are going to longer events.

I was admittedly late to the game on this one and let me tell you, this smells way more expensive than it is. All the hype is real. This and the Citizen Jack are both fantastic. If you are a serious collector, you can’t go wrong with either or both :)

Excelente aroma, cabe destacar que me gusta acumular (ya no sé si coleccionar) perfumes y tengo ya una variedad amplia así que me hice con este ya que me llamaba poderosamente la atención, Ocean Noir de Michael Malul es una gran sorpresa para mi, ya que tiene una salida cítrica dulzona supongo dado por la nota de mineola (o tangelo como dicen) y coco pero sin ser el típico coco de bloqueador sola, mas bien me recuerda de alguna cocada, dulce de coco o incluso horchata de coco, con toques marinos lo que junto con la nota de algas parece oscurecer algo la salida pero sin ser nocturno, mas bien dándole versatilidad, se siente bastante limpio como gel de ducha pero no tan sintético, mas disfrutable. Parece que la proyección será baja alrededor de 30 cm (burbuja personal) pero en serio el aroma es intimo, elegante, masculino, realmente validero. Es pues un aroma dulce sin ser apabullante, frutal sin llegar a lo gourmand pero también marino sin ser salado. Es una fragancia azul súper versátil, limpia y provocadora

I am thoroughly impressed with this fragrance. It’s a fresh, easy to wear scent with a subtle sweetness that transitions into a woody base. One of the best things about it is it lasts all day, so you can enjoy it without having to constantly reapply. All in all, Ocean Noir is a gem. It strikes the perfect balance between freshness and depth, making it versatile for any occasion. If you’re into well-crafted, ocean-inspired fragrances, I highly recommend giving this a try…

This is my second Micheal Malul fragrance as I was so impressed with the first. I liked this from the first outing. It's light, and fresh, it feels like you could wear it anywhere. It's also an elegant fragrance. If I had to sum it up in one word, that word would be sophisticated.
