SUNWAYFOTOPNL-Z9 L-Bracket for Nikon Z9 DSLR Arca Swiss Quick Release Plate

When I received my Z9, I wanted reuse some of the accessories that I had already purchased for my Nikon Z6II. One of those items was an L bracket. It served multiple purposes, but one of them was the ability to connect a handle that was compatible with the Arca standard. I really liked my original orange L-Bracket, but it was clearly made for a smaller camera. In order for me to make it work with my Z9, I had to angle it to be able to access all of the ports on the side. So, I went searching for a solution. The original vendor didn't seem to make a larger L-Bracket to accommodate the Z9 which is taller because of the integrated battery grip. While I may eventually get a full cage, I still plan to use my camera for both photography and video, not just video. When I want to just take pictures, it seems like a bigger ordeal to disassemble the cage rather than remove one bottom screw for the L-Bracket. The Sunwayfoto L-Bracket was sufficiently packaged and includes a bag and some other items including tools to tighten the bracket to the bottom of your Z9. I am still able to connect my wooden handle on the outside of the bracket which allows me to hold my Z9 with two hands and have access to both an external shotgun mic and monitor/external recorder to view my video bigger. The bracket feels well built and I look forward to using it for a long time. If you are a hybrid shooter and are hesitant to get a cage, I can definitely recommend this as a good option.

This bracket works as intended. Being far less expensive than competitors brackets I was a bit uncertain but am glad I purchased it.

Works fine

All it need is a more form fitting design like the RSS. The left front bottom corner sticks out just a little, but it still works fine. It's good because it forces your hand to be placed directly under the lens. The corners could be smoother. I have an RSS L-plate on my D810 and my palm cups the left front bottom corner comfortably. The form of the RSS design for the Z9 L-plate are similar. If the price difference wasn't major, I would have got the RSS L-plate.The extra mounting holes for attaching accessories is a plus. Built solid and great quality like the RSS. Of the other brands out there, I prefer the design of the RSS. The Sunway is a better value.See photo 1 with the Sunway on Z9, photo 2 with the RSS on a D810, and photo 3 with the RSS on the Z9.

Excellent build quality, I use this L bracket with the Really Right Stuff ballhead and it works great together. This works as good as the more expensive L brackets.

L'équerre comporte deux vis: la vis de fixation, et une vis anti-rotation. La vis anti-rotation dépasse d'une fraction de millimètre la base de l'équerre, avec pour résultat l'impossibilité de faire reposer l'équerre de manière tout à fait plane sur la plaque de fixation de la rotule (type Arca Swiss). Il faut décentrer légèrement l'appareil photo pour obtenir la planéité attendue. Pas acceptable! Une vis moins protubérante réglerait le problème. Pas de réponse du fabricant à mes emails répétés. Je renvoie l'article et achèterai le modèle SmallRig à la place.

Dopo varie ricerche ho deciso di prendere questa staffa anche se con qualche riserva.Premesso che ho già avuto diverse staffe a L di marche molto più costose, questa mi ha sorpreso. Solitamente il punto debole di staffe per macchine così grandi, è la flessione e movimento che si può avere quando viene posizionata in verticale la macchina, in quanto non ha appoggi come con la base, ma ho constatato che è davvero minimo o inesistente se non si applica troppa pressione.Per me, sopratutto visto il costo, è promossa a pieni voti e la consiglio senza riserve.Ps: sulla D4 avevo una staffa simile ma molto più costosa e non era esente dal problema sopra descritto.

Ｚ7Ⅱ用に購入しました。良い商品です。縦位置でのリモコン撮影も問題ありません。センターを外すことでそのままでも使用出来ますし延長部を引き延ばしての使用も勿論OK です。寸法精度も完璧でストラップとの干渉もありません。他社互換品より若干価格は高めですがL型ブラケットを使用される方にはおすすめします。
