Our grandkids apparently had thrown the utensils out when scraping the plate off, and only found out when our supply was very short! These are not flyweight, nor heavyweight, but a comfortable balance between them. A pleasant design, and they feel sturdy enough to handle long term use. They are more of a size used for soups, so a smaller choice would be better for regular meals. But the price is wonderful, and the quality is surprisingly great. I am glad I chose these.

I have ordered lots of this style (forks, knives, etc) as I have five young kids and my silverware disappears. It's inexpensive but still strong and looks decent. I meant to order teaspoons and got these dessert spoons instead which are tablespoon size. Will keep and reorder the correct size!

When I read the reviews on these spoons, and saw that someone had 4 cats in their house, so they were always short on spoons I immediately thought "These are the solution for my long lasting cat v. spoon problem!"I've only got one feline flatware pilferer, but my spoons have been steadily going missing for a year.These spoons are pretty hefty and well balanced so I imagine they will be just too heavy for my cat to get a good grip on. It's nice to see they've considered these things in the design room.Kitty was watching me scoop out hard ice cream from the container with interest as the spoon didn't bend at all, so I have the feeling I'm not the only one impressed with their solid construction.At basically the price of dollar store flatware, I can't get too mad if I need to replace them again, but for now I've affordably replenished my family's spoon needs for a little over a buck a piece.

I did not give this 5 star because these are not teaspoon sized. I would call them closer to tablespoon size but I definitely needed spoons and they were reasonably priced and the quality seems good to me as well and there are times I like even having a bigger spoon than ordinarily ...such as eating ice cream! Great for soup too, although I do use them for everything. If they were just a tad bit smaller I would have given them 5 stars.

These are indeed very spoonlike spoons, suitable for all sort of spoonage. They are sturdy and have a reasonably heavy feel in the hand. They are a good size--a bit larger than the spoons you'd typically find at Walmart for a similar price (and much heavier!). The only complaint, and this isn't really a knock on the spoony part of the spoon, is that the base of the handle is too wide to fit in the general silverware holes in the basket for such in my dishwasher; they only fit in the larger holes on the sides of the silverware basket, and I've only got eight of those. So I cannot wash all the spoons at the same time, unless I wish to do so by hand like a barbarian.

I am a single man, living on my own, cooking and eating my own prepared food 95% of the time. These sturdy, lovely stainless STEEL spoons shovel that food into my mouth perfectly.

I expected a teaspoon not a tablespoon! Honestly I have never used a spoon this size for dessert

Perfect size to replace some lost spoons in the old cutlery drawer. Very good quality. Nice and heavy, very smooth. Really like them.
